Hi, Good question! Lots of things to consider but in my opinion, the Soarer probably isn't the best first car. Why you may ask, I'll try to summarise:
      1. It's a really long car. It can make parking a chore and manoeuvring difficult if you live in places with small tight streets.
      2. Fuel economy. Even though the vvti 1jz has better fuel economy than non-vvti, it's still really bad for everyday driving. It is an old 6 cylinder turbo after all.
      3. Parts aren't the easiest to get hold of if things do go wrong. Especially if it's a facelift car. This is even more true if you are based in the UK like me.

Project JZ hmm, first off, thanks for being kind of enough to type this out. Now I have to think it through more. At first I was think a bmw 335i but went to this car for its engine, looks, and it’s price. After hearing too that these cars are quite reliable. I’m in the USA btw. It’s just cheaper for me that’s why I went with it

@@latuba2478 Well it certainly helps that you're in the states. Parts are more acquirable from what I can tell and your roads are bigger and better than ours, generally speaking. If you are adamant to get a performance car as your first, the Soarer isn't bad. Besides the points I mentioned in the previous comment, there are loads of good points. Once again, I'll summarise:
      1. Bulletproof engine! The 1JZ is very strong and resilient to abuse. Being older, they are simpler and easier to work on that newer cars. This is especially the case in a Soarer where there is massive space around the engine to work on it. You can really build your knowledge on this kind of car as you can still do a lot of it yourself whether it's work on the engine, suspension etc. Countless forums and youtube channels to turn to if you need help.
      2. The Soarer body shape and style is amazing. Subjective of course I know but I had to say it lol. But they're also built very well. There's lots of support for the Soarer still too with lots of aftermarket parts, bodykits etc.
      3. It has quite a long wheel base which makes it easier to drift. Great when you're learning.
      4. You'll be part of the JZ club. Better yet, you won't have to pay Supra tax!

Project JZ well said, my brother says it’s ugly XD, had to convince him! I think I might have to stick with it then. But one more thing, how is it as kind of daily car (I’m assuming that’s not ur daily) btw, I’ll do skids for fun, not serious about drifting as I prefer grip builds
