Anyway, people still want to hate on Sam but fail to see she is worried about Danny being disappointed by Jason leaving again and wants to protect her son's heart as well as her own. I can never fault her for that. The ending was intense, angsty and poignant. I may be tuning back in. Thanks for the clips!!
Jasan is right. Danny will continue to seek him out. Despite her fears, Sam has to come to grips with that and ease up on her restrictions. Sam is dealing with her inherent fears Danny is Jason all over. They will reach a compromise at some point but for now Sam is resistant. Looking forward to the battle of wills.❤❤
I need Sam to realize that the more she tries to control Danny and force him to stay away, the more she’s making things worse, even Dante has pointed this out. I’ve said it again and again, why not set a supervised visitation, give Danny structured and monitored time with his father so that you all know where Danny is, and this would curb Danny sneaking out and possibly getting into danger. By cutting off every safe avenue to interact with his father, Danny will only find other more dangerous ways to do so. Sam is not making the best decisions for Danny, let’s be real here, she is making a decision for herself, for her own feelings. Right now her decisions are clearly damaging her son and she’s not willing to see it.
On the one hand, I get Sam is scared, not just of Danny's physical well-being, but also mentally when Jason, more than likely, will have to leave again, or god orbid, dies for real. However, trying to force Danny and Jason apart is only gonna make Danny rebel more. Honestly, I know JAson won't let him near the business, but eventually Danny is gonna join a gang or some other group that he shouldn't, just to rebel against Sam.
A love like there’s never ever goes away. She can love Dante all she wants and he can hook up with whom ever but they will always end up with each other. Give it time. Jasam will be back together. Maybe not now or this year but definitely back together. ❤
Sam is being really unfair. First, she can’t honestly expect Jason to tell Danny to leave if Danny seeks him out. That would crush Danny. As far as Jason possibly leaving again, Drew was gone for years then came back and was gone again yet it is okay for Scout to “invest” in him. Why is Jason different?
So Sam doesn't want Jason because he's dangerous, but she is shacking up with a COP who's father is a mobster and constantly in danger. Make it make sense! So ridiculous!

as much as it hurts to see them fight & maybe sam goes too far on some spots, I think this is her coping with all this the same way she did after scout was born & drew got hurt. she's not sick this time but it is the same lashing out of fear, especially now that danny's older. I don't think she's necessarily *mad* at jase but I think he gets that. plus a bit of her abandonment issues are coming out again, rightly so, she fully chose to be with jase and that life but how many relationships has she lost like this? he is very right though, cutting danny off will just make it worse, & giving whoever is behind all this more leverage
I remember when Jason came back 2 years ago, a When she was with Drew at the time and he saved her from the trailer...he asked Sam when did she become so afraid she was never afraid? Without Jason Sam became soo afraid. She still is now beknf with Dante.
I'm surprised no one has called out Sam for treating Danny similar to how the Quartermaines treated Jason after his accident. I get that she is scared, but Sam's fear is causing her to be irrational, and controlling Danny's moves will only push him away. Quartermaines tried to control Jason's moves after his accident---cutting off his bank account, taking away his keys, and planning to put him in a facility. The attempt to control Jason pushed him towards Sonny and his dangerous lifestyle.
She acts like right now mak😅decisions with Danny like she tried to do with Drew with Scout. You can tell she thinks telling him to stay away will change the feelings it seems the new writers are going for with a hard fighting on Sam’s side carrying about him last time he came back.

Does anyone else member like 2009/2010 Kristina storyline of Alexis trying to keep her away from sonny's life? I feel like she could be a bit more empathetic to her nephew these days.

I get what Sam's afraid of but she knew who Jason was when she fell in love with him and CHOSE to have children with him. Danny is clearly their child and she should know better than anyone that he's going to be attracted to danger. He's got both of their genes running through him.
Danny might not be a little kid, but he's immature as hell. He's drinking coffee he doesn't like because he sees other kids at school drinking it. Meaning, he does things because he thinks it looks cool. He idolizes Jason because the reality is, he doesn't actually know him. Danny has created this fantasy in his head of who his father is, when the truth is, Jason is not a superhero. He's a flaw, broken man who makes bad choices and other people get hurt by their consequences. No one is asking Danny to be a perfect son. But don't lie to your mother and deliberately disobey her and then be shocked when it makes her not trust you. If you want to be trusted, it might help to be trustworthy. To recognize that if your mother is telling you something, its because she knows more than you, been here longer and has your best interest at heart. Right now Jason is interesting to Danny because Danny sees him as someone cool, living this thrilling life, doing fun and exciting things. But a little of that shit goes a long way. Especially when you're a father who knows basically nothing about your own children because you've missed most of their lives. Danny complains that Sam is a parent versus Jason who doesn't parent him and doesn't even realize the salient point of that sentence. Jason isn't a parent. He might be a biological father, but he's not a parent.
