Wow. I know it's based on an Animenz improvisation, but it's still so impressive how its quality matches, and even in some ways surpasses his. Imma try to learn it.
Thank you so much for the kind words! I guess Animenz' style has rubbed off on me after transcribing his improvisations for so long. This is really almost everything I've learned as a transcriber and arranger in the last year or so. I don't upload many of my own arrangements, I'm starting to think I should do it more often!
Ooh, good to see you post again. I haven't heard this piece, or Animenz' improvisation of it, but your work here sounds beautiful! Also, I appreciate the analysis you did in the description. I find it worthwhile to see other people's thought process for their arrangements.
Thank you so much! I honestly think it's a shame when people upload their arrangements onto UA-cam without a brief ''backstory'' in the description, because I believe it's essentially the second-half of an arrangement's ''life'' other than the music itself. Thanks for stopping by!
@@MacQui You know, that's a very good point. There's a lot that goes into certain arranging decisions that is unseen or overlooked, so it's nice to get a play by play for those decisions. It's especially useful for people like me who are just getting into arranging, and don't know certain things about it. So thanks for that, I appreciate that extra effort you put in. Any plans for more original arrangements in the future?
Thanks for the kind words! I do have plans for my own arrangements fairly soon. It's just the matter of mustering up the courage to actually upload them, because my standards are way too high when it's comes to self-arranging, haha.
@@MacQui You're welcome! Yeah, that's certainly understandable. I have a good number of arrangements that I never finished or uploaded because I just didn't think they were any good.
Glad to see you're back with another video. Am looking forward to Dango! Also, is there any hope that you'll ever go back to making your own arrangements in the future?
Really beautiful ~ Always looking forward to your arrangements / transcriptions. Super appreciate the sheets. Any tips on how to get started on making synthesia?
First above all else, buy Synthesia, don't torrent or 'crack' it. It's really worth it in the long run if you plan on using Sythesia as your primary way to present your videos. Second: buy a VST to give your audience the best sound possible, you will have to learn how to learn to make the MIDI sound good (in the final product) by messing with the MIDI velocity on a DAW. You can even find a free DAW online, if you search. Do all of that, sync the audio and video up and it's ready to go. That's at least the way I do it. There are a lot of people in the community that most likely have a more efficient way of doing Synthesia videos, but it's the way I'm currently doing it. Cheers!
@@MacQui How do you go about converting a Synthesia-playable MIDI into a video format for syncing? I've tried the Synthesia Video Creator, which keeps on crashing =/ Could this be a computer processor/memory problem?

It is a really good arrangement. I hope you can start to develop your own style in the future.

Gah... This is great!
Though, even if I believe I know every egoist song, I can't recognize which one it is at 3:33
Immediately recognized it, it's taken from the strings at the end of The Everlasting Guilty Crown. :-)
@@anomie8713 you're absolutely right! Thanks!
