Vegas' ceremonies were absurdly over the top, but that was by design. Las Vegas is after all the entertainment capital of the world. You could certainly make the case that our ceremonies were too subdued, but if I had to choose between big flashy pregame ceremonies, and winning the Stanley Cup, you know which one I'd pick.
