It's the inconsistency of the KC defense that lets us down. We have an average defense and still reach the AFC championship game for the 5th straight year. That just shows how good Mahomes is at keeping us in games. If Mahomes had a Cinci defense or a 49ers defense we'd be in another league. I am worried about this week as you can't deny how good Burrow is. But I think we can and hope we can do it!

Why did it take 10 minutes to acknowledge that football is a team game and it's not QB vs QB? That's what's do dumb about this argument. Joe burrow clearly has a better team. Better weapons, better defense, better special teams. So if Burrow wins, it doesn't matter. Mahomes was objectively the better QB not just this year but every single year of Burrows career and it wasn't particularly close. One game does not change that outlook.

I love how everyone says 3-0 but always neglects to mention how those games went. Up big in both of the first two, the chiefs straight up got complacent and let cincy ride the momentum too long. This exactly. The best way to compare quarterbacks is to look at stats, and by that metric Mahomes is THE BEST qb in the league. If the Bengals beat the chiefs on Sunday that only proves that the Bengals have a better team. You would think that sports analysts would be quick to point that out, but they never do.

It's the inconsistency of the KC defense that lets us down. We have an average defense and still reach the AFC championship game for the 5th straight year. That just shows how good Mahomes is at keeping us in games. If Mahomes had a Cinci defense or a 49ers defense we'd be in another league. I am worried about this week as you can't deny how good Burrow is. But I think we can and hope we can do it!

Acho knows better. Burrow is playing a middling defense, Mahomes is playing a good defense. KC is always leading in the fourth, it’s not like he can’t put points on the board. Then uncharacteristic things happen that gives Cincy the edge, a Kelce fumble, a Mahomes pick, a 60 yard DPI. KC has the best QB on the second best team, Cincy has the second best QB on the best team. If you’re comparing individual players and not TEAMS, then accolades matter. Rings matter, MVP’s matter.
You can say that Burrow is 3-0 against Pat…but Baker Mayfield is 3-0 against Burrow so he’s better if that’s the way we’re measuring this(which is exactly why it’s stupid).

Both of them played very well agaisnt each other. Burrow has the edge through 3 games head to head though. As far as everything else as it stands Mahomes has the SB Title, SB MVP and League MVP (2nd MVP Soon). Burrow is knocking on the door trying to catch up and he could start this year. As I see it Mahomes is #1 because of SB WIn (because that what matters.) Burrow #2 with AFC Title last year and Allen pulling in 3rd with AFC Title loss to Mahomes and recent Divisional loss to Burrow. This excludes NFC teams.
Mahomes is only better as a individual player because of how much longer he’s been in the league if burrow came in the same time this would be a lot different conversation
