The world has gone mad I think. Im sure it sounds good but it appeals to so few people in a crowded market getting a sale is tough. I know there is much R&D and limited product runs but i think audio bliss can be obtained way cheaper. I was impressed with the Mac MA12000. Thats $30k in Australia with the Klipsch Cornwalls. They were $15k plus cables and a given decent source for $5000. I heard a Mac and Sonus Faber system in Sydney's Hifi Show for around $350k....not bad. Im no dan of plate amps. In my way more down to earth setup I use Rotel Class Ab powers into JBL 2226H. Not for low sub bass more for impact down to around 35 hz. In my space that is smallish its certainly adequate. On this Mac system they had 15 inch Rel R32 subs and they were well dialed in. Great. Many speakers can benefit from great quality subs in all price points. Good video. Funny story about system rental lol.

The reason why Mcintosh is the marketing firm owns both Sonus Faber and Mcintosh...so they use both. For a speaker that expensive...they should have used a Tenor Audio Preamp and monoblocks...instead of a pretender amp like the Mcintosh
