my heart goes out to this father and son. to see the son in tears for his father is heartbreaking. I hope things go well for both of them going forward.
Ha has never been "poor". Even incurable skin disorders are controllable, which this guy clearly didn't give a shit about this for his whole life. Poor my ass.
The only reason he let it get this bad is because he couldn't afford to have it treated. In most countries in the world it would never get that bad in the first place.
What an amazing result! And the best news came at the end, with the lab results. I was bracing myself for a diagnosis of warts, tree-man syndrome, or even cancer. So when the doctor gave them the news that it was benign it was such a wonderful moment. 🙂👍
I work as an ER nurse, and about 8 months ago, I had a patient come in who had something very similar. In addition to this, he also had open bleeding sores on his feet too. Unlike this patient in the video, he said that he didn't have any pain. As a side note, the smell was almost intolerable. It was like a combination of a strong pungent cheese (fungus) and rotting tissue (necrosis).
It may have looked the same. But, in the video. He had no open sores. And no fungus. The fungus is what causes smell. People that have horns on their head. I wonder if it smells? With it being rock hard. I doubt the guy in video had that sort of smell. Either way both men suffered. Doc pimple popper talks about the cutaneous horns and removes them from head. Ive never seen her remove them from the feet.
@@ohwellithappens6905 Yes, he was diabetic, and this is no doubt the reason why he didn't have pain from feet that were so messed up. Surprisingly, he still had pretty good circulation to his feet, all things considering.
This Dr. is always so humble, "I'm a little nervous, not sure how to do this, but I'm going to do what we can". Then, he goes into the OR and works absolute miracles of surgical skill for his patients. It's amazing. He's amazing. And his patients get their life back.

@tommy7fun I'd do that for my pops bcuz on this planet, there's not anybody that I love more than my dad 💯💯💯 I love that guy, he has done sooo much for me!
This show might have been the only way he could afford the surgery. I don’t want to think of how much he’d be charged, to treat that and all of the tests, by a regular doctor. In the UK, we may have the NHS, but the waiting lists for some surgeries are so ridiculously long that people aren’t getting the help they need unless they have the money to go private. My uncle was waiting with a life-threatening spinal stenosis on the NHS surgery waiting list for 9 months. He called his surgeon several times to ask what the delay was and finally, the surgeon’s secretary told him that those above him on the waiting list were ‘extremely urgent’ and more of a priority. They’d already told my uncle at his consultation that he was at great risk of paralysis and even death. But then the secretary suggested to him that he should go private, if he could afford to. 30,000, same doctor, same hospital, same everything except the bill and the waiting time. He asked how much longer he’d be waiting if he stayed on the NHS waiting list. She said she could guarantee that it would not be another 9 months! My family got together and scraped together whatever money they could and he ended up going private.
God, I remember as a child, getting 1 Planters Wart in center of my right foot about the size of a pencil eraser. And man did it hurt to walk. I can’t imagine what kind of pain this poor gentleman is going through. I pray those tissue build ups stay away from him after surgery and monthly treatment visits to shave the bottom of his feet. It’s so terrible not being able to walk….especially at the age if 71 he said😐🙏❤️😞
So happy for this guy... he's not a whole lot older than me. I had this med sliver on the bottom on my foot once, and it caused a build up (nothing even close to this) of calloused skin, so it was like walking on a sharp rock all the time. That was painful. I can't even imagine, no, I don't want to imagine, what that felt like for him. I'm just glad he got relief. Feet are so important.
Walking was painful. Now, he can dance. After years of pain, fear and loss of mobility, this man can put it behind him. It's great to see a doctor making such a positive difference in someone's quality of life.

I was binge watching this show and seeing all the foot problems these people have now I don't feel so bad about my feet because I thought my feet were terrible
This is Keratoderma Puncta. It's a hereditary condition where the cells of the outer layer of skin on the soles of the feet renew themselves a lot faster then normal. Normal cell renewal cycle takes 28 days. For patients with this condition, it's down to 4 days. It's not cancer or any other abnormal growing of cells. It's just the cycle being far too fast. There is no cure for this. Only to keep the growth under control, taking away the excess skin regularly to avoid pain. Some patients have this in the palm of their hands too. Tho usually not as bad as the feet.
Thank god, someone cares enough to help patients. I have been to a lot of Drs. Of all kinds. And there are not to many Drs.that will take on this mission.

I was very impressed how you could cut away at it without going too deep! I'm no doctor but it seems to me that soaking in a mild acid and pumice stone a couple times a week could keep them down.
I had the same on my hands and feet several years ago. I blamed a major onset of stress. I did finally get rid of them with daily foot soaks and using a foot file. It took months . there was also a medication I was taking for indigestion and about the same time I started that they also started going away spontaniously.. they there was a recall on that med and I was eith out it for several months and that stuff started coming back on my feet and hands.. Thenkfully they came out with a replacement and shortly after I started taking it my hands and feet started to heal again. My PCP just shakes his head and keeps prescribing the meds for me. It is also over the counter but I need the stronger 40MG version so it is prescriotion. I still need it for indigestion and I imagine I always will. I have lots of photos. Never had the spots biopsied. At the time I did not have health insurace and could not afford help. I dealt with it for a few years. they got medicare. So all is good my feet and hands are happy. No more of this weird growth and awful splits.

I was binge watching this show and seeing all the foot problems these people have now I don't feel so bad about my feet because I thought my feet were terrible
Ótimo trabalho de parabéns
This is Keratoderma Puncta. It's a hereditary condition where the cells of the outer layer of skin on the soles of the feet renew themselves a lot faster then normal. Normal cell renewal cycle takes 28 days. For patients with this condition, it's down to 4 days. It's not cancer or any other abnormal growing of cells. It's just the cycle being far too fast. There is no cure for this. Only to keep the growth under control, taking away the excess skin regularly to avoid pain. Some patients have this in the palm of their hands too. Tho usually not as bad as the feet.
Спасибо, что объяснили. Я не понимаю того языка, на котором идёт передача, потому смотрю и ужасаюсь, не зная, от чего такое происходит. .... .
Que trabalho maravilhoso destes médicos.🥼
Yay! Job well done!
Can we get a little recognition for the son 😂 Clearly so uncomfortable and grossed out yet eager to help his dad and be there for him.
😂😂😂😂😂 Everyone in the videi kept making me laugh but im glad he got the help he needed.
Thank god, someone cares enough to help patients. I have been to a lot of Drs. Of all kinds. And there are not to many Drs.that will take on this mission.
Glad this was done under general.

Great doctor did a perfect job
Impressive work Dr's.
Bless your heart. I’m so glad you have found something that works for you.
Здоровья вам!
@@melindaunknown6411 YES Thank you I am so thankful this issue has resolved. I really think the heavy stress I was under brought it on. It was crippling me. I hate to see this happen to anyone.
I'm really glad you found a way to take care of the situation.
@@kelkabot Thank you I am also very glad I solved the problem. And now know how to keep it from coming back.
