Im a white man, and according to my grandmother who is no longer with us, when she was a young girl, her family was caught in a bad storm and had no food, a blackfoot walked into their cabin and dropped an elk leg on the table .. didn't say a word, turnes around and left....he saved an entire family. I wouldn't be writing this right now if not for the Blackfoot...thank you, I'll never forget.

I was adopted out to Americans when i was young. I'm part of the 60's scoop. I want to be an enrolled tribal member but I have no idea where to start that. My mom is blackfoot and my dad is Cree.
Oki (Blackfoot)& Tansi (Cree) greetings 😊 I'm also a CreeFoot 😅 depending which tribe you are from getting ahold of band membership would be one of the steps. I'm Piikani Treaty 7 Southern Alberta & northern Cree from Treaty 6 north Saskatchewan.

My children r 1/4 black foot there great grandfather was Black Foot, so thank u 4 the history.
