With pleasure
@@NWR81 ah yeah!
ok
Does this episode take place in the distant past...because it's not the same thin controller as usual
@@blasterblaster1221 It is the same Thin Controller, but it's 1984 !
Joey Turner and MissoliverandBlossom...
Am I in 2009?
Very lovely job on the episode by the way. Great as usual
Omg yes my favorite double Thomas fandom
You mean that brony is a veteran in the community?
Aah this was lovely! Joeys portrayal of Sir Handel is just perfect, every line was just right on the money of how Sir Handel would act within these kind of situations.
Looking forward to seeing you all! For context, this story is a direct continuation of the magazine story "Whistle Trouble." I hope Sir Handel's new whistle doesn't ruffle any feathers!
Can’t wait
Could u voice Edward in this video I’m doing Enterpriseing Engines
@@rukabank7524 Caleb here..
i have a rare wooden railway Neil as well as Culdee and his coach Catherine!
plus, Frank to which i'm holding him as he charmingly reminds me to tell others to.
Never. Overlook. A. Little. Engine. *Five Claps*
I gotta hand it to CynicOnRails here, this is probably the best executed story he's written to date, which really is saying something. His sense of pacing has improved dramatically: there's no filler and the story moves along at the rate it should. The characters are also wonderfully written, and the climax and resolution were quite clever. What more can I say about it? You've done well here, Cynic. I'm glad you've taken your peers' critiques to heart, and I hope you continue to do so going forward. It was also a nice surprise to hear MissOliverandBlossom reprise his role as Gordon here after so long.
Truly amazing story that shows Sir Handel's character at his best, a boastful engine who is great friends with Gordon. Also, the sets... I am just speechless. Well done!
Thank you so much!!! The script was written by CynicOnRails. I’m so happy you enjoyed the visuals too
Hearing DaWillstanator voice Gordon was so... surreal. Never thought I'd see that again
I feel bad for Sir Handel, almost like every story he's in, he gets involved in a bad problem and all cus of his behaviour, other than that, exellent story!
Mihael Alaber you have a good point there.
It’s wild to hear Trainlover476 and Missoliverandblossom speak in the same scene 0_o. Cynic certainly knew how to construct a very shrill story, it was hard to Handel.
I loved the story and camera work! I sense a little bit of inspiration from Patience is a Virtue with Sir Handel misquoting a word from Gordon to his own humiliation, and it was a nice easter egg to have MOAB as Gordon again.
Thank you very much!
Brilliant episode! I was quite surprised that DaWillstinator came back to voice Gordon, which is great! And also, it reminded me of both Mike's Whistle and Patience is a Virtue!
I'm digging the Pokémon music during the credits.
I’ve been fascinated by Sir Haydn having an A4 whistle since I first found out about it and it’s nice to see an idea like that incorporated into a story, definitely feels like something Awdry would’ve done. I also like the inclusion Gordon and Sir Handel’s... bond? Poor little engine never learns from his past mistakes unfortunately. A rather sweet and simple story that I very much enjoyed.
That's what I'm not fond of. Everyone makes him the punching bag of the SKR. They never cut him a break.
The title may say "shrill", but I feel like this video will be a hecka sweet (surfer style) experience indeed!
Right back atcha.
I’ll never get tired of this Sir Handel.
"Sir Handel wished his ears were ringing too." How can he wish that? Enginea don't have ears.
I love the story plot. The Sceneries and the models also help to make this video look spectacular. Reminds me of Mike's whistle. But I have to wonder: who's more hot headed? Sir Handel or Mike?
Keep it up, Matt! :)
Thank you Steve! Your awesome Crovan's Gate is getting a lot of good mileage ;)
This episode was such a shrill to watch! Sorry bad joke! Loved this episode! This was a very great sequel to Whistle Trouble. Fantastic job to CynicOnRails for writing such a great story! The scenery was beautiful and I just love that lake shot so much! That ambulance shot was really well done. Everyone did such an amazing job on this episode! Great work! Looking forward to the next one!
Always great to hear Joey and Will conversing in a video again.
Poor Sir Handel! He can't catch a break! XD!
Poor Sir Handel, nice story
blue bells fan He’s in big trouble now
This marks the second time an engine honks too much, the first time being in Faulty Whistles when Duncan did the same. But at least Sir Handel's whistle didn't fly like a rocket like Duncan's.
I love sir handel i love this so much it is so cool. I love how it takes place right after whistle trouble
This had me rolling just now and as always the Pokémon music fits
Thank you! And I’m happy to hear that. I really liked how the music lines up for that one, especially the ringing bells before the credits
3:41 just now realizing that he's singing Patience is a Virtue
patience is a virtue and this one and TO BE AS PATIENT AS CAN BE!
Man it’s great to have Dawillstantor reprise the roll for Gordon. He’s always the best one in my book.
Will is da man!
@@Enterprisingengine93 And I bet Joey would do great as Henry in your series.
I just noticed at 4:56 roughly proteus is in the shed next to sir handle and then fades away blowing his whistle
Joey Turner is my spirit animal.
Darn it, I missed the livestream. I was distracted with watching Episode 2 of the Game Grumps playing Sonic Shuffle. (I'm in the minority of people who actually liked that game.)
2:49 - The Scarecrow from The Wizard of Oz.
Also, for those of you who want to know what "egregious" means, it means either outsandingly bad and shocking, or remarkably good. I used that word in my Wood Discussion of Emily and Ashima when I mentioned the lack of paint being the most egregious change to the Wood line that the fans disliked.
Great job! This was really great. The premiere was fun, too!
I don't think I'll be able to handel this episode
Awesome job now I really enjoyed the story also I noticed that Gordon's voice actor change also at 2:35 now excuse me while I destroy the atmosphere another wonderful story Matt.
Sir Handel may not like his whistle but I love it and the episode in general, well done matey.
Someone please tell me, that missoliverandblossom IS STILL ALIVE!!!!!!😃😃😃 I thought I'd never hear his voice ever again!
ThomasLover16 he has a my little pony channel called dawillstanator yes he’s around only in the Brony world
Great story
I can just imagine some train spotters above on a bridge and like “aww look at the cute little engine. Just wait for his cute whistle!” Then Sir Handel just does a loud ass Gordon whistle
That was a very good story!
5:05 Mr. Percival is Mr. Roger Sam! Yikes, that makes my head hurt!
Why do I feel lime Sir Handle had a lot of pent up anger inside of him
I felt sorry for Sir Handel.
There must be way to control his temper.
He should go to Japan and find The Ancient One to make his redemption.
I remember in TMNT 2003
I haven't heard that voice for Gordon in a while and wow an A4 whistle? Wow
Sir Handel my favorite Narrow Gauge character
Great adaptation
🎶 Patience is a virtue...
I almost forgot about that song!
Just like Sir Hayden!
That was a great episode! Great job!
The cast did great !!!
I just got back from vacation and the first thing I see in my recommendation is this nice 😎.
Perhaps you could do a remake of Oliver's Find where rather than crashing into an old house while pulling the mail train, Oliver enters the scrapyard where he meets two hostile diesels: Arry and Bert. Arry takes away the mail vans while Bert buffers up to Oliver and shunts him under the grabber. They succeed with scrapping Old Ollie and when the Little Western engines find out the next day he's dead they swear to get back at Bert and Arry.
I noticed something at 4:20. The guard has a gun and is pointing it at Sir Handel. You can only see it at this time code and it only shows up for a millisecond.
Um, I'm not too sure about that xD
Don't hide the truth.
Ow, my ears are bleeding!!!!
Mallard's whistle! Huh.
Wait... Mallard=Bird=Feathers that can be ruffled.
I read the title as "Skrull Handel" and now I'm convinced he's a little green marvel alien
Lightninging they’re watching our every move
I'm laughing every time I hear Shrill Handel 🤣
Excellent work Matt! 👍
Good one
Ee93 I love you videos and sir handles voice is amazing and I Hurd Proteus wisle in the vid
Thomas: i’m going to whistle like that to everyone today!
I’m excited to
Strange, I thought in your series, the thin controller was a different minifigure
Omg Trainlover476 and Missoliverandblossom my funny double childhood voices
Commit Shrill Handel
He’s too old for puberty how old is he like 75-100? He had puberty in the 1950s-60s
Well, if he was built in 1998 with his brothers.....
*1898
True, though I doubt engines go through puberty, but just mentally mature it seems. Percy is a good example of this in the classic series.
Not Bad, Not bad at all , Great Job 👍
Thank you very much!
3:41 The point where I started dying of laughter
It's going to be great
So since Victor appears here in Shrill Handel which takes place in 1984 + the events of Blue Mountain Mystery (which i assume take place in 2012) are referenced in Thomas & The Fortune Teller. Doesn’t this imply Luke was in hiding for 28 years?
Very good question! Most of season 5 takes place in the late 90’s but I decided cranky bugs is exception, seeing how Cranky has been around for a long time in sequences throughout the CGI era. Luke was indeed in hiding for a long time!
As always, well done. I have an idea for this Halloween: you could adapt and release Ghost Train (ttte.fandom.com/wiki/Ghost_Train) on Halloween.🎃
Heheheheheheheh!!!! What a hilarious story!!! 😂🤣😂🤣😂
Awesome video Matt, best wishes from the UK as always mate. Looking forward to seeing your next episode, is it the thin blue line by any chance?
Good job, Matt. Still, shouldn't Sir Handel have been angry with Gordon for giving him bad advice? In Trucks didn't Gordon tell Sir Handel to pretend to be sick and the slate trucks crashed into Peter Sam, mistaking him for Sir Handel?
I've never heard an A4 whistle in real life but I'm willing to bet that it can't compare with the horns of modern American diesels.
I Like The Episode It's Amazing
That was so funny 2:28 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
At 4:59, i never noticed the Proteus in the shed!
Omg I'ma see a live stream form this guy for the frist time ??!????
Sir Handel
I see Will's voicing Gordon again. Though I do wonder what happened to Jake (KnapfordHarbour).
Agregious
I can't wait for this
That was great
The thin controller looks different don’t you think
Jakob Norman this is the thin controller in 1984!
Sir Handel Real name used to be falcon
5:00 I FOUND PROTEOUS! (I think thats how you spell it)
I miss the old thin controller
Don’t worry, this is him in 1984!
EXCUSE me, but that is NOT the Thin Controller we’ve known over the years! Not serious but it was shocking since he’s your main character, but this is an adaptation so oh well
Don’t worry! That is the same character. It’s the earliest we’ve seen him. The 80’s! ;)
RIP headphone users
Gordon sounds like Markiplier 0:34
Can you please do an episode in which Neville is pulling Coaches, before derailing and falling of a bridge into a lake?
Hey Wanna Voice Bertie in A Episode i'm Doing of my Series?
Is that scarecrow at 2:52 from The Wizard Of Oz?
From the Creator of “Alone”...
Why was Victor credited when as far as I remember he didn't speak.
Edit: Okay by the looks of it he does but you can't hear what he says very well as it is quiet.
So is proteus just showing up in every episode???
I love Your Work so much please make a Remake of Thomas and the Breakdown Train with the black James and old shape Henry
I wish writers would stop picking on Sir Handel. :(
I will remember this comment Rose and hope to give Sir Handel a victory someday. If you’d like to see a story where sir Handel wins, I know a great one I can recommend you. It was written by theburiedtruck and adapted by terrier55stepney
@@Enterprisingengine93 Thank you. He's like the punching bag of the SKR. Why can't anyone else get a comeuppance of their own? They aren't perfect either. It's one plus I give Christopher Awdry, Brenner and even the Miller era for; they don't make him an always-arrogant engine who's the go-to character for comeuppance/karma stories like poor James on the NWR. But I usually understand when it comes to James and his karma stories feel less severe to me compared to Sir Handel's.
And pray tell what this story is? Interesting to hear Buried Truck of all people involved in it.
I thought of a karma story for James involving an OC of mine, but with a twist so he doesn't get teased or punished. I've yet to see anyone do that.
@@RoseSupreme Rose, I think you'll like this story!
ua-cam.com/video/Q7mVLGX5fYk/v-deo.html
what happened to other thin controller
Don't worry, this is the same one just younger. this takes place in the 80's
Stock footage.
Ever thought of starting a discord? Great video
ignertz thank you! And I have, is that something you’d be interested in?
@@Enterprisingengine93 very much!
@@ignertz I agree. An Enterprising Engines discord sounds like a great idea! Another good way to chat with the Enterprising Engines community as well as the whole Thomas community.
How did you end up in Mr. Ryan’s stream?
Huh?
can you adapting some RWS stories
You think you’ll ever revisit the plans you used to have for the series.
I still have those plans! My larger projects are highly collaborative and Covid has made them more difficult. I'm focusing in projects I can complete closer to home right now.
Your talking the stuff with Proteus, and Mr. Percival?
TheLearningCurveBoi definitely
