Severn Valley Railway - 'The Magnificent Seve(r)n' (Autumn Diesel Bash 2023) - 26th Sept to 1st Oct

  • As part of the 50 years of Diesel Preservation Celebrations, the Severn Valley Railway staged 'The Magnificent Seve(r)n' event - 7 days of Diesel Based events between Tuesday 26th September and Friday 6th October 2023. The main event being the main 'Autumn Diesel Bash' from Thursday 28th September to Sunday 1st October
    The event aimed to be the largest gathering of Diesel Hydraulics in Preservation
    This video features:

    It was intended that the other two surviving Class 35 'Hymeks' D7017 and D7018, owned by the Diesel & Electric Preservation Group would also attend. Unfortunately both had to be withdrawn from the line up following an incident at the West Somerset Railway
    (Another photoshoot also took place at Kidderminster TMD on Friday 6th October which is not featured in this video)
