Hi Ranjani, thanks for doing this. It is immensely helpful, beautifully played as well as explained. I have a question though.
When you talk about Arohanam of Yamuna Kalyani Raga at 1:00, you are playing only N3’ R2 G3 M2 D2 N3 Ṡ However the actual raga’s Arohanam is S R₂ G₃ P M₂ G₃ P D₂ N₃ D₂ Ṡ. I see that you did not play P in Arohanam. Why did you chose to exclude P even though P Swara is there in the raga as well as song. I might not be understanding the nuances behind this. Could you please reply if you get to see this question? Thank you so much again.
Thanks so much for pointing it out.. its basically a key prayogam which best describes Yaman Kalyani. sorry I wrongly mentioned as arohanam.. its my fault.. :) yes arohanam has panchamam. I will correct it next time. thanks very much

I definitely understand the efforts it take to make each video. one humble suggestion. instead of making the video in 2 angles it could be made in one angle in a structured format like first singing with the lyrics, then with the swaras (both vocal and veena) and then a slower explanation of the swaras in veena with gamakas. now for practising I keep switching between the faster and slower explanation for each line. This is my humble suggestion only.

Arohanam avarohanam are different as it's Hindustani based. it's almost same as Kalyani.i was not very sure that's why didn't explain much. U can see it in notes. Thnx
