Good lord never seen such manners, no wonder they were held for royalty. My dog would quickly snatch anything offered, chew the sticks. For a final crescendo he'd pick up that plate, do a few circles with it and smash it. We met a young black Shar today and I'm in love, she was so lovely. My dobe was excited due to a previous dog interaction so he was barking. Once I assured them he's fine we had a good 5 minutes. It's one of the few times i petted a dog as I just sit on my bike and try to control.
lol, my Shar Pei is the "meat mouth", much larger than this dog, she would NOT touch any of these food items. She exams everything, studies it, smells it long before consuming as this dog. Mine will perform the same with her daily diet, she NEVER just walks up to her dish and starts eating, she will "scout" it out, pace back and forth several times, then approach it finally, again she would never touch/consume any of the above...

I had a Rottweiler (Koko) he was funny..to get them to eat celery put some peanut butter on it..they love it!

My shar peis loved baby carrots, and looked a bit like these whenever they had them. They liked the crunchiness, and also disliked celery and lettuce…
