Personally i feel Beep culture starts from the censor board itself. sensor board usually beeps unwanted words (example in the movie "run" for the song theradi vediyil devatha vanthaal ..there is a line daralama mansu iruntha ) they beeped the lines . This made the song even more famous. If censor board is really concerned about avoiding obscene words then line itself should have been removed , not just beep the words and make people understand what the line actually meant.... How is beep song so bad compared to other songs in tamil movies? Like the bittu padam di song or one of the song in the billa movie. The only reason this song was blown very big is because of simbu. Just leave him alone. Let him move on with his life. If another person had done this song I don't think the song would have critised as much as now.

In Tamil slang most of the people use " O...T..A " thousands times nay million times in their conversation every day without knowing its meaning. They are vast majority of poor people a s well educated people ( some professors also) cannot converse with out using such vulgar words. The vulgar “Tamil word” flows out perennially from their mouth. If they don’t use such vulgar words they can’t converse. Personally i feel Beep culture starts from the censor board itself.
sensor board usually beeps unwanted words (example in the movie "run" for the song theradi vediyil devatha vanthaal ..there is a line daralama mansu iruntha ) they beeped the lines .
This made the song even more famous.
If censor board is really concerned about avoiding obscene words then line itself should have been removed , not just beep the words and make people understand what the line actually meant....
