I think there's an ongoing joke that if Amano had his way; every character would be blonde.
Haha he really does. Especially some of his early works also tends to use similar colored outfits that increase the lookalike trend.
Is it just me or did FF7 heavily borrow from FF6…
Both Amano and Nomura made concept art for FF7, and I think the devs didn't want to alienate the FF6 fans, so they were definitely inspired by their previous work.
