@@NoNameAtAll2 its ok. he finish the game without skipping any dialogue then he SPEEDRUN it :D true gamer do it this way
Nor he ever skips any side quest. )) Absolute player!
And an even truer player for having to ‘skip’ the battle dialogue by... skipping over their life.
An elite player would zip in at near-light speed on a burning pheonix, listen to all of the dialogue and cutscenes, admire the textures on the tent, sleeping bag and lantern, grab a collectible journal, harvest a mushroom, then zip out at near-light speed again, blasting every creature in the area with an aoe mount passive on accident.
The fact he is still happy with 50xp shows how much of a gamer he is. Every little bit counts XD
Gotta get them XPs, esp. since he can't get anything other than vendor trash from that encounter.
You never know. A set of hobo glams might go well with those skulls.

@@lyntonflemingHe didn't loot it anyways!
There's no kill quite like overkill.
I would like to imagine if that player had attacked fruit merchant instead
Tbh it IS a very good feeling when you go into the main story overleveled.
It's like using cheats, but you actually earned them, so it ends up balancing out.
Even better when a game can get reasonably challenging deeper into the quest still.
most likely you'll just forget you ever have a main story quest to begin with...
That's a bad game mechanic from Bethesda, Elden ring for the win.
LOTRO many people complain about how over leveled they are after doing all the main story quests, then they get to level 70 and suddenly the game catches up, and the go from1 shoting mobs to dying every 30 seconds. Funny when just crossing a river and suddenly your super powerful toon is all squishy. The older players always warn them, and say do more quests get more deeds done. The ones coming from other games laugh and say "I know what I am doing" then realize nope they don't, because all those side quests and deeds we told you to do actually are critical to building the toon. The next thing you see is them back in the starting areas doing all those deeds and side quests, or quitting because the game "is impossible"
@@DhruvRed wdym bad mechanic from Bethesda? Enemies scaling to your level is great.
You CAN put all your eggs into grinding out smithing, enchanting and alchemy if you want, get yourself really overpowered...
But if you do that, your weapons base damage is shit and so is your armour, and likely your health, too. Course, if you use those three properly, you also become god, so it is balanced out somewhat.
Does it mean that you get punished for trying to game the game until you get it right? Yes.
Is that a bad thing? Only if you suck at it, I guess.
Once you get it, it feels great. You play the game normally a few times, learn how shit works, then you get to play as a Lore Accurate Dragon Born. And nothing's quite as fun as Lore Accurate Dragon Born.
Yes. The enemies are tough. But what do I care when I'm spitting out shouts every 2 seconds with a bottomless pool of mana and immunity to the elements?
Yeah , you feel like you haven't been wasting time. But IRL you are just munchking gamer type wasted his time

I really like how humble and nice this adventurer was.
He appreciated even the little EXP reward.
He must have listened to his grandmother. 50 cents or 50 dollars, it all adds up!
If the adventurer was Ben, he would have laughed menacingly the whole battle through, and his dialog would have been arrogant and stoned by his power
Also he didn't skip the speech and you can tell from his looking after the attacks that he kinda feels sorry for the boss to be absoluty no match to him.
Unlike alan 🤭
I mean, he could've tried to pretend to be hurt...maybe use a real attack like "oh no, I'll have to use 80% of my power'
That fact that he didn't need his sword made me smile, but when he just smacked him... 🤣🤣🤣
The more I watch these, the more I want an RPG with NPCs that are actually like this, like, commenting on level gaps or mechanic clichés. We need an Epic NPC RPG to get made...
Let’s see the games that are similar are Skyrim which seems to be the basis on what this fictional game is based off of mix that in with a bit of any souls like games for bosses and scales npcs need to e reworked though we’ll probably need to wait till gen 10 for consoles minimum to try to make this game
Problem is trying to find devs who are willing to put all of that effort into a game, but i agree, i would love NPC's like this😁

That is the legendary skill "Strike of Will" very effective.
The little slap which OS the boss 🤣
Hamish is a hell of an asset for y'all. He excells at playing the unfortunate, the bamboozled, and the anger fueled so well.
In one of your previous skits, his ramp up from being simply annoyed about them skipping his ba-nay-nay and carrot sales dialog, then progressively pushed beyond his breaking point to fury. His absolutely hilariously aggressive delivery of the line, "YOU WANT SOME FRUIT?!?" was a perfect line delivery.
His silent anger is still the best acting i ever seen

You are talking about BEERBOT 5000 here....of course he is AMAZING AF💯
I also loved the "puzzle" performance where he descends from superior and mocking to frustrated and furioud when the adventurer solves the pathetic puzzles that have somehow been intact for thousands of years
What amuses me is that the NPC is fully conscious of and frustrated by how imbalanced this is, but he still does his best to follow the script.

What kind of monster would do that?

I remember one REALLY RETRO game I played. Mid way the game, it pit you against a boss you can't win. However I sidetracked, level-grinding, stat-boosting...on and on. By the time I face the boss, he can only deal 1-2 HP damage per turn while I hit him for 500+ with normal attack. Yet he can't die, so the only way for the battle to end is for boss to chip away my 900+ HP 1 turn at a time. Sad.

I think UA-cam needs a fun caption mode where users can make funny captionss of what characters say and stuff.
It would be actually one of the best things to implement in a game - enemies reacting to player characters who are different strength-wise.
Sometimes they do have morale failures, but only due to losing health, but actually saying something like "oh fuck" because they do little to no damage to player - that would be cool.
have you played Ghost of thushima? there mongols can flee from you, Same in Kingdom Come deliverance.
That exists at least since Lords of Magic, probably a lot earlier too, there the enemy just tries to flee the battle when the strength difference is too high
There was a mod on Skyrim LE that did that to bandits. If your level was too high, they'd become non-hostiles and flee.
@@doryaman This can happen in Vanilla Skyrim too. But you must become really strong

I like that the over-leveled protagonist isn't treated like a bad person for enjoying the content out of order or whatever, a lot of folks seem to want to guilt people that like to go around doing little things instead of shoving themselves through the main story as fast as they can. Yall need to make a full on movie for this. Maybe like an epic dungeon crawl or something.
I'm not gonna lie, that's my favorite way to play games. Nothing like going through the main quest care free. It really let's you focus on the story.
@hoiy vinosa I agree. Totally likeable dude.
It's how I used to level in WOW. Do all the dungeons to get geared and level 5 or 6 times. Get full blues and maybe even a couple epics, then go back and hit the main story quest. The trick is to stay right at the upper end where you are still getting good xp, while overleveling the content, so it's super fast.
Truer words are rarely spoken
Totally intuitive. Spend as much time as allotted outside the story grinding so that you can focus more on the story.
Some games allow you to level how far you want without doing any story quests... like life. ;-)
