Love the "drop C tuning".. guitars can be tuned to whole step down for multiple purposes and it works perfect especially like this kind of music; that I think we can call "post grunge"
When this album came out my grand baby was about 2 and she loved it too made me play it all the time and she calls herself Seether girl and does concerts in my living room and now she’s 7 and it’s still going strong ❤️❤️❤️
Did this video put an end to the sirius xm chapter? Or should we except more suprises? Btw this is the firat time i heard let you down beingthis f**ng heavy!!
Shaun has definitely changed the way he sings, I'm not sure if its from age or on purpose but you can tell he sings all of these very differently, also not sure if it was just different for this performance or if that's how he's going to sing from now on. I still love Shaun's voice whether the change is permanent or temporary.
As a similar style vocalist, I can tell you that things change. Part of it is a change in strategy so you don't paralyze a vocal chord or do other damage. When we get older, we don't recover as quickly from anything. Unfortunately, our voice is a sum of our physical parts.
@@robertpeters7641 yeah, I've gotten pretty close to Shaun's disclaimer and karma and effect era voice and you can feel the strain in certain areas he put into singing, it's never major but enough that continuous strain over years and years could wear down your voice. Even just watching him sing some of the stuff live its obvious the technique he uses isn't the easiest or quote on quote proper. It's still a sound I will forever cherish and no matter how much he changes its still uniquely Shaun.
@@sandythornhill8969 Weight gain does place pressure on the respiratory system/diaphragm etc. Most weightier vocalists have a similar tone if you really stop and listen for it.
Funmaths...Wondering how many gigs shaun and dale have played together thus far... 4400? On yer john and Corey too of course. Trigger's and the sound that provides solice to the Trigger's PLushing on... while pushing the taker's away... file cabinets ... fiLe cabinets... full of fun math data
Looking for a real freind to chill with and hay to thoes that what to come back in my lfe lets go snigel now a days and lfes getting stared for me , so when you guys come see my new look and lost a lot of weight 44 built like a tank turned my fat into muscels didnt know I had my um things are bigger then befor thank you God
For a few reasons. First off, like when a original band member leaves, that void of replacing someone from the original never feels the same. Prime example is Metallica with their bassist. Second, as a drummer, sometimes you want to live in the moment with the song, I don't like it when the guitarist comes into my space while I'm feeling the music and living in the moment. Its me and the drums
corey does such a great job backing up vocals
Vox kind of sounds like an octave pedal on wasteland.
Best voice i've ever heard
Great band with a voice that hits your soul.
Shaun was so focused on this cool Riff that he forgot he had to sing. :D
damn, the scream at 2:50... so glad we still have Seether around.
I love seether but that scream cracks me up every time
Loved Let You Down
Best live performance of "Wasteland" I've heard and "Dangerous" good as always
The guitar tones on this entire set are just CRUNCHY damn!

@@leowasthere these guys are a bit of a heavier style of post-grunge too, its like a mix of alt metal, nu metal, hardrock, and post-grunge.

I feel that besides him straining his vocal chords. Him gaining weight has something to do with it too

Why do they ignore John always? Practically non existent in this mix and even the album. 😔

@@TGBAgentOrangeI wouldn’t call John a ‘new member’ since he’s been with the band for around 20 years
The new album is alright and as much as i hate to say it, Shaun was so much better when he was on drugs. Facts
