Not that I don't like books almost everyone likes but I love that you have so many books I haven't heard of! It makes this a lot more interesting even though I live for bookshelf tours because it helps me with finding books to read
Three books on her shelf I really recommend: Between Shades of Grey (nothing to do with 50 Shades of Grey) takes place in WWII in Eastern Europe and follows Lina, a girl who is sent along with her mother and younger brother to a labor camp in Siberia after her home country of Lithuania is taken over by the Soviets. Lina's family is targeted because her father, as a professor, spoke out against the Soviet Union's spread and the story is about survival, family, friends, and finding hope. Wonderful historical fiction. Totally recommend. The other two are in the same series, they're The Name of the Wind and The Wise Man's Fear. Honestly, it's hard to sum up the plot of the series and give it the proper justice it deserves, but it's a fantasy series about this character Kvothe, who over the course of his life has turned himself into a sort of legend. The story is told from the perspective of an older in-hiding Kvothe telling the real events of his life to a record keeper years after the fact about how he rose to be a legend and eventually fell from grace. The main character (at least his younger self) is witty, charming, arrogant, and best of all he's easy to relate to. And the world itself, while completely made up, is in many ways similar to reality and the book deals with themes of racism, class-warfare, abuse, trauma, poverty, art, history, gender and so much more that makes the story really fun to pick apart.
I am new to booktube and I find myself binge watching your channel literally everyday! Your content and personality are so on point and I love everything about you! I'm also like super obsessed with your name! When I get my shelves I plan on doing a book shelf tour as well! I just started my channel and uploaded my first video and I' m so excited to join this community!
"Hi there's my face" favorite part of the whole video just because we aren't used to not seeing your face in videos but WAS SO EXCITED WHEN THIS WAS POSTED AND NOW I'M FINALLY WATCHING IT CAUSE I'VE BEEN SO BUSY. :D
It is so great to see not only the amount of books that you have but also that they're amazing ones! I've seen many videos where they have 500+ books but they're pretty boring or simply bad books, but your collection is fantastic! also I love your sense of humor! huge fan right here! much love from Venezuela!
I was just overwhelmed. Not by the number of books, but just how many of them I want to read! I've read a few (Harry Potter, Lunar Chronicles, anything Rainbow Rowell) but I basically have my TBR list for next year. lol
Beautiful books! I just gave away many books that I don't want, as in, not special enough to keep and not my favorite books ever. Like Sophie Kinsella books. And now my shelf looks so good and this made me want to do a shelf tour!
That is the cutest outfit ever! I've been looking forward to this video for ages and I'm super impressed! I loved your layout! Very inspiring! I'm happy to see I have quite a few of those books or want to read them!
Its funny how countries have different titles for books. "Jellicoe Road" here (Oz) is called "On The Jellicoe Road," and "I Am The Messenger" is just called "The Messenger." Especially strange considering they're both Australian authors.
Percentage wise...how many of these books have you read? I feel like I'm in a constant battle of continuing to forget to read the books I already own and buying more! LOL
When I started to read "Ship breaker" I fought it's something non-interesting, but you can guess that I were so wrong. This book is amazing! And the message is trully powerfull.
I have never watched a whole shelf tour but I love yours! You have a few series I have always been on the fence about reading... raven boys, seven realms, daughter of smoke and bone... all I have looked at multiple times and never got around to. Also, have you read The Novice? What did you think?
+Danielle Rose that's because they are the Vintage Classics editions (as she mentioned in the video..) :))) If you google those, the right ones come up.
Hey Reagan I know this a bit off-topic but I just decided that for 2016 I was going to challenge myself to ask 12 booktubers each for a book recommendation and that I will challenge myself to read them this year. What book (or books) do you recommend?
I have just finished the first two books in the Bronze Horseman Trilogy and am reading Summer Garden now by Paullina Simons. Its SO amazing! Thanks so much for recommending them. What would you recommend me to read after I finish Summer Garden?
so did you count all those books to see just how many you have on those shelves?? I keep a list of All the Books I own. but it's been a minute since I've counted them, due to adding some new releases!
You seem to have a lot of European versions of books (which are, in my opinion, usually a lot prettier than the american). Where do you get those from? I always seem to have a heck of a time trying to find them.
Also, about the seven realms and heir chronicles, which series should be read first? Since you said its set in different time periods, does it matter which series we start with?
Did I see Outlander on the lowest shelf ? I've just started the series and I'm already hooked ! I've read the first 3 books in under a month with work and everything ^_^ Thank you for this book shelf tour, it gave me some ideas about what I'd be buying next ;)
grear vid! I have a feeling that you've read nearly all of these books. do you have a separate tbr shelf or something? love your channel! kind regards from Brazil :)
Did you ever read S? I feel like so many people have bought it but never read it.... I loved it, but I haven't met too many people that have also read it!
I noticed you didn't have and LJ smith books on your shelf vampire diaries series secret circle trilogy forbidden game bind up . and also I didn't see any Stephanie meyer books on your shelf the twilight series and the host were you not a fan of the series?
(looks at video....sees many many MANY books that I want to read....looks on desk...10 books still to read) DAMN YOU, PERUSE! Stop feeding my book addiction! :)
+PeruseProject I was also curious about the order. If you could describe her books in a few words what would they be? or if you could describe them using books they are similar too?
I've had my eyes on those bookshelves for a little while now. Quick question though: did you have to fasten the bookshelves to your wall? On Ikea's site, they said you should do that or they will fall over, but I can't do that in an apartment. Thanks in advance!
"Eleanor and Park by Rainbow Rowell, it's just the dust jacket, I lent it out like two years ago I don't want to talk about it.."
ROFL XD
I really want to know what happened now!
That book's awesome.
So many books I have to get to...Great tour, Regan!😊
Not that I don't like books almost everyone likes but I love that you have so many books I haven't heard of! It makes this a lot more interesting even though I live for bookshelf tours because it helps me with finding books to read

I am new to booktube and I find myself binge watching your channel literally everyday! Your content and personality are so on point and I love everything about you! Omg you HAVE to read Golden Boy soon! I read it in a day and it's by far one of the best books I've read this year!
I was just overwhelmed. Not by the number of books, but just how many of them I want to read! I've read a few (Harry Potter, Lunar Chronicles, anything Rainbow Rowell) but I basically have my TBR list for next year. lol
These bookshelf tours must take forever to edit!
Beautiful books! I just gave away many books that I don't want, as in, not special enough to keep and not my favorite books ever. Like Sophie Kinsella books. And now my shelf looks so good and this made me want to do a shelf tour!

Its funny how countries have different titles for books. "Jellicoe Road" here (Oz) is called "On The Jellicoe Road," and "I Am The Messenger" is just called "The Messenger." Especially strange considering they're both Australian authors.

I have never watched a whole shelf tour but I love yours! You have a few series I have always been on the fence about reading... raven boys, seven realms, daughter of smoke and bone... all I have looked at multiple times and never got around to. Also, have you read The Novice? What did you think?
lol I know that feel of just having the dust jacket of that book you lent out YEARS ago.
your bookshelves are so beautiful Regan! :)
Can you please provide a link to those Jane Austen Books? Or to one? When I look up vintage editions, I only get a hardcover boxed set.
+Danielle Rose that's because they are the Vintage Classics editions (as she mentioned in the video..) :))) If you google those, the right ones come up.
+SharonVictoria90 ... I believe those Editions are thru Barns & Noble..
As SharonVictoria90 wrote, they are from the Vintage Classics edition, Vintage being the publisher.

Should I read the Seven Realms series or the Heir Chronicles first?
Read them in publication order: heir 1-3 then seven realms then heir 4 and 5
+PeruseProject I was also curious about the order. If you could describe her books in a few words what would they be? or if you could describe them using books they are similar too?
Love to see how beautiful american book covers are, while the italian ones are mostly very dull...

Where can I find the uk editions of Brandon sanderson's books? They're stunning and I can't find them anywhere!
the book depository usually has uk covers so I recommend checking there (+free shipping)
I've had my eyes on those bookshelves for a little while now. Quick question though: did you have to fasten the bookshelves to your wall? On Ikea's site, they said you should do that or they will fall over, but I can't do that in an apartment. Thanks in advance!
+timberebersole I have these and you don't have to nail them to the walls, although it would make them more sturdy but I don't think it's necessary (:
+sarah_says ok thanks!
