When u were shaping the tip into duck, what speed do you have your drill on for this process? Also when ur shaping after application what speed? I’m a beginner and i been into to find great speeds for each process but haven’t really seen any nail techs say their speeds with the drill. I think ur video is very helpful thoo thank youuuu
I usually have it on 6-8RPM! And for shaping I have it on 10-12RPM but if you’re learning maybe have it lower so you can control the speed. Thank you for mentioning that, I’ll make sure to include my rpm speeds in my videos🥰🩷
@@HazelNailGoddess wait so that’s the name of the shape of the tips she was shaping? if it is , i didn’t know that! i didn’t even know there was another shape even like duck! thank you so much for telling me🥰
So dip the brush in the alcohol, and then I start swiping the gel right? Also is it better to start on a practice hand or real hands cus I kinda bought a practice hand
I know I’m not who you’re asking but to answer your initial question, yes. Dip first. And to your second question, I would say practice on yourself first so you can accurately see how it feels/lasts on your own hands. You can still practice on your mannequin hand but I personally wouldn’t want to waste product just starting out. Also the process just isn’t the same.
First Comment Anyway Really Cute Set and Pink is my favorite Color💕

@@thenailwizrd omgg okay thank you so muchhh, I tested it out and I did my first set(2 nails) and it actually came out great as a beginner ☺️💕
Tidbit, it’s considered a moon cut. Duck shape nails sometimes have a moon cut but are very flared at the free edge ☺️💜

What would be a good starting price for a short polygel set? Im thinking about adding it to my services, but i dont want to under or overcharge. 😊
Very demure 🥰
Have you tried all nail shapes?? I think you should do a set you wouldn’t normally go for
I have!! But good thing you mentioned it, I’ve been wanting to do more almond/stiletto sets🥰
