If your computer struggles with the HEVC/H265 footage, check out the new Apple Mac Mini and MacBook Air/Pro M1. They all edit that perfectly and are very powerful overall.
@@pascalbasel Maybe not for 700$ but an M1 mac aint 700$ either.. imo custom build PCs are still superior.. especially the new Ryzen processors. Also you can easily install a powerfull GPU in any custom build computer, buuutt getting them right now isn't easy. Don't get me wrong, the M1 chips are great and better then the older intel chips, but they are not the best.
@@Julian-ee3ov M1 Mac Mini is 700$. Even refurbished M1 Air starts at 850$. For video editing they are the best in that price class and they even outperform Mac Pros. It’s all bout optimization. Closed systems are superior because of that.
btw, some suggested on utube to set to normal and choose your shutter normally, then switch to HDR, the shutter speed will remain the same to the one uve set in Normal/Manual mode !...
Liked and subscribed! Nice and informative. I just got Mavic Air 2 and started shooting videos with my new drone. There is so much to try and learn, but I love it so far. I got a set of variable ND filters from Freewell and I still didn't have a chance to try them out. Thanks for the tips on those settings.
Got my Air 2 some weeks ago and after some test flights I noticed some video grain / noise. Is this normal? I was shooting at 4k24, ISO100, 180° Shutter, normal color mode at H.265
Great video..I have the same drone you have and looking to set it up the easiest way to get great cinematic footage but got confused..cinelike or HDR? Profile..also, the white balance is 6500 if cloudy and 5500 if sunny? Sorry, new to this thing and although it might sound easy, it is like a different language to me..

Hi Pascal, like always excellent video! What settings you use for the gimbal control, there are several settings for Cine, Normal and Sport and i am struggle to set best values for cinematic slow camera moves. Do yu made a video about this?
Thanks, I just used the normal settings. I‘m used to moving my fingers slow as on previous drones the settings often changed back with firmware upgrades.
iso gets u more noise when u r shooting d cinelike, trust me i tried this 2 days ago ! i think for beginners its better to use Normal or HDR only, i was really sad shooting in d cinelike and i couldnt color grade it due to lack of experience + more noise !... otherwise i agree with ur other points...
Super Video!
@@pascalbasel Yes, and many are. And they are all choppy. Especially when there are a lot of movements and panning with the camera. Some say that 60 FPS is too smooth, but I don’t understand that at all. 60 FPS looks amazing, and 24 FPS is terrible to my eyes.
@@NiklasMalmqvist I hate 60fps. It doesn't look natural. 24P looks much better and if it's choppy then it's mostly that someone moved the camera too fast (there are rules for how fast to move at what final length etc.), codec issue or exporting as 30p or 30p footage on a 24p timeline. I actually skip videos on UA-cam that are uploaded in 24p as it doesn't look good and lags in 4K due to bandwidth issues.

I would usually say build your own PC to get even more performance for less money, but at the moment most GPUs are out of stock..
@@Julian-ee3ov Not anymore with the M1 Macs. Try building a PC that edits HEVC 10bit 422 footage like from the Canon R5 especially for 700$...

Nice, good flights :-)
When you fly through things with different lighting you can lock your automatic exposure so you don’t get that exposure-flicker.
Not in HDR mode

Yeah, that’s normal. Just expose a bit brighter and make it darker again post. Then the noise disappears.

Don't raise the iso on this drone... in Cinelike just expose a bit brighter and then make it a bit darker in post. That gets rid of the noise.
