High time thanks Rassie, for years Springboks been the 'nice guys' and came second with international Ref's and Line officials-time to stand up and kick back.
Absolutely!!! for to long we have just let it slide all the calls go against us. Rassie must continue to confront and put pressure on these refs. This "Sir" is irrelevant in rugby today, what rassie has done he cant even dream of achieving!!
This is when SA rugby is at its best. We been playing niceboy for to long. The lions will get a rugby lesson this weekend. Rassie knows axactly what he is doing and I am sure he will get the result he wants.
@@neilrobson3064 Comparing this Springbok team to the one in the 1990s, we have become less aggesive but still be phisical. I am happy that the aggression will come back this weekend. We need a Bakkies Botha type of attitude from all the Boks on the weekend. It will be fun to watch.

Clive Woodward took the Lions to NZ 2005 and lost 0-3 the worst Lions tour in recent decades. Its good that we are seeing the Lions under Gatland compete well with Aus ( 2-1 2013 ) NZ ( 1 1/2 - 1 1/2 2017 ) SA ( ? ) This SA tour is a fairer contest now than ever before : all matches at sea level, SA with home advantage, Lions with more game time but against weak opposition, no fans in stadium for either side. Its a pity we haven't got the whole experience with the fans and the Lions visiting townships etc but I think these 2 teams are rising to the occasion at a sporting level and I expect fireworks next Saturday.
Fairest? You had one team that last played test rugby in 2019 with zero Super 14 Rugby neither the Championship Rugby for 2020 and 2021-both competitions against the test nations and top provincial teams of New Zealand(All Blacks), Australia and Argentinia while the other team's (B&I Lions) players had two Six Nations in 2020 and 2021 supported by top Six Nation's international Club rugby week in and week out-hardly fair I should say, old chap.
Dont forget the Lions have to work out their combinations from 4 countries and get used to a new coach, the Boks are reuniting a World Cup squad with the same coach. I bet we see The Move at some point.

Anyone recall Clive Woodward giving a press briefing, using powerpoint, to show referee errors to the media on the 2005 NZ Lions tour?! IRB/WR did nothing.
"sir Clive se royal moer". The issues raised by Rassie is not aimed at the specific match officials, they are aimed at improving the level of officials and professionalism of the IRB, it was raised in a transparent way when IRB did not respond to Springbok Queries on some of the dubious decisions that affected the Springboks. If Gatland (or any other coach) had issues then he should have raised it, as for the water boy, there is no law against it and don't tell me coaches including the "sir" has never sent messages to their team via water carriers, so it's typical hypocrisy of his station as English Lord (only relevant in the UK) and the IRB establishment, they so desperately do not want to upset the apple cart and would want to crush any form of dissent. Go Rassie Go Bokke!
What Rassie says towards the end of his answer is more reflective on our sentiment “I wouldn’t really listen much to what Sir Clive Woodward says he doesn’t really…..”
I feel sorry for SA! they clearly feel they have been treated unfairly, I mean its not that they have ever done anything underhand on a rugby pitch is it like gouging, punching, late high tackles or deliberately targeting touring teams star players before a test match! When the dust settles Erasmus has single handedly dragged SA rugby world respect to new depths. Rugby has been a pioneer in creating respect in sport, what happened on the pitch used to stay on the pitch, he has tarnished the game. Nice one Rassie!! pathetic......
What an idiotic comment, what tarnishes the game more than shoddy refereeing or unfair competitions? Pointing out a problem is not the problem unless there is a problem. If dragging SA Rugby down end's with an RWC and sending the Poms and their hangers-on back home with their pompous tails between their legs for the second time in as many years, I will help Rassie dig the hole.
Are we the team with a player that was spotted for biting a player, no it is the Lions. When you want to post stuff make sure of your facts! And your players chocking and shoulder charging us??
