They even don't know that Indian aviation sector and air india founded by JRD tata and tata group 😅 let them criticise like joker @@sristirajmajumder6571
Firstly, a huge admirer of your videos and have been following you for months if not since the start of this channel. I really appreciate you bringing this topic up. I sincerely think Air India has all the props for being the best in the business. As a frequent traveler around the world, I have had enough experience of luxury and economical travel across the board (specifically more in Asia, EU and North America). The current pace of change observed in Air India is unprecedented. From the tech (website, app, onboard entertainment), the product (revamped fleet, plans for retrofitting the aircraft, new air craft orders), the onboard service (which has been exponentially improved since the Tata takeover) and the customer satisfaction (ABSOLUTELY flawless customer service), Air India has proven that they are here to change the perception. Two things I observed from this video, you primarily spoke about the issues (which is fair because every issue you mentioned is a fact and available in public domain). I do not mind addressing these issues but that has been done to death for years now. I think it is time for us to move forward and start looking at the future paths. Secondly, Tata as an airline owner has done a fabulous job with Vistara and their partnership with Singapore Airlines has proven positive so far. Also, Tata was the primary owner of Air India in the past and had created reputation for AI then of a premium airline and set high standards for other airlines to follow. I really think these are strong points we should be focusing on and keeping the faith. The definition of keeping the faith also demands giving them time. These changes will need a few years to reflect and I am sure that will work out positively. Once again, I know you addressed the great leadership AI has now but I just wanted to suggest if we could look forward now and talk about AI in the future than what happened in the past. Because this will help the airline too to move forward and create newer impressions rather than holding onto the one they had previously. Just my 2 cents. As always, I sincerely appreciate all your efforts for outstanding airline coverage. We, aviation enthusiasts and others, wouldn't know half the things if it wasn't for you. Keep up the great work as I am genuinely a die hard fan of your work.
Air India must restore its former glory as India’s flag carrier, as plenty of people travel abroad, especially to western countries such as Middle East, Europe and the US. The lack of a carrier without focus in customer experience has led to people looking out to other options, and naturally Emirates became the unofficial flag carrier of India, which is also one of the reasons that made Emirates huge in the first place, alongwith making the A380 popular for Emirates. If Air India gets it right, and offers premium flagship customer service, then it not only becomes a preferred option to Indian people who would fly with their home carrier, but also prove to be a viable alternative to the Middle Eastern carriers for even the South Asian countries, and take crucial market share for itself. There is a lot of money to be had on this project, so hope Air India is successful and makes it big
Their biggest rival is Emirates followed by Qatar , Etihad and Turkish New Delhi is more centrally located then either of the other hubs in the Middle East Air India should take advantage of of that and be the bridge between Europe US and the Asia .
AIR INDIA WAS KNOWN TO BE THE GOLD STANDARD OF AVIATION. THEY ALREADY HAVE THE BACKGROUND ANS EXPERIENCE WITH SINGAPORE AIRLINES.. INFACT SIG TAKES ITS INSPIRATION FROM AIR INDIA OF THE 1960'S...LIFE HAS NOW COME A FULL CIRCLE FOR AIR INDIA
Thanks for informative video. Changes should be slow and progressive. Some people believe that everything will change over night. We can wish and pray for the best. Note : Tata group is very rich even after giving 60% of whole Tata group profit to charity.
TATA group will go all out to turnaround. Remember. The larger group had many sick units which they turned around though this will be a challenging one
IMO, Air India has not just the opportunity, but the OBLIGATION to show its capabilities as a national flag carrier. Let's face it, in terms of service and hospitality, India has the ability to be second to none! Here's hoping they will show the world that no culture will surpass India in the sky when it comes providing a superior travel expeience!
Hi there I would like to make a request to you if you could make a video on Air India regarding their upgrading process for their existing Fleet off aircrafts for example their TV screens in the cabin in all classes which are still not working after following the video clips of the international flights recently
Looking forward to seeing its direct flights from Delhi to F/W Dallas! Because Tatas are around, people of India have high expectations! Hope and trust AirIndia lives up to the expectations 👏👏👏
Air India should start charging 200 dollars for every wheelchair passengers Every flight has nearly two dozen wheelchairs causing havoc to the boarding and disembarkation
No it does not, they clearly wanted a completely clean slate, from decades of underinvestment and mismanagement by the Indian government, thus nothing to do with it. Finally it’s a private airline, thus they are free to do whatever.
Unlike the image they project, Tata group too is heavily dependent on quit pro quo (corruption, bribes and getting undue favours), here in India. And despite all the pomp and show with which Vistara (Tata - Singapore Airline JV) was launched, their domestic flights (within India) soon started giving the Ryanair, Lauda Air vibes. So overall.. after they close/merge Vistara.. they will directly be competing with the likes of Qatar, Emirates and so on. I am not dissing them for the sake of it. And as someone from India, I too would wish good for our own brands, but the fact of the matter is.. I have had pleasant experiences on Kenyan and Ethiopian.. while flying from India to Africa.. than on AI under the new management flying on European sectors.
I mean even if 100bn$ well spent on Air India can't fix their problems then i don't know what can. They are investing in changing their work culture and passenger experience. They can do more to make sure their lounges also exude luxury and allows flyers to experience a truly Indian experience. Good food, comfortable seat that can turn into a lazyboy chair for people that want a quick nap, good spa experience, massages, showers, etc etc. They can also improve their food quality and amount.
I strongly believe that Air India can and will make a Strong Comeback but it will all come down to one thing and one thing only,And That Is CUSTOMER SERVICE!You can have a great product and nice Aircraft,But if The Customer Service is Still Subpar it won't matter much!
Air India was introduced by tata only then after independence air India was taken by the government, so they will bring back air India back to its glory.
Air India should tie up with Singapore Airlines or Emirates to succeed. Sometimes you need another experienced partner. Like TATA took over Rangerover and Jaguar that improved their home cars.
Well some of their A350s are almost 6 months old now, and yes they are maintaining is greatly. Also the new A320 neos and A321 neos are really maintained well. Sad that the refurbishment of older aircrafts like B787s and B777s is delayed till next year. Though the refurbishment of A320s is going to start from this year.
shame on air india marketing gimmick our family premium economy was downgraded without notice learnt it day before flying the customer service rude and unprofessional they told have to fly in economy even though paid and booked in premium economy.
Hi. You took the words out of my mouth with some of your final comments. It doesn't matter how much you pump money into AI unless you train your staff, both cabin crew and ground crew, and get rid of the arragant overbearing staff it will never get any better. New uniforms, livery and cabins don't change the people inside the uniforms. There business class is very mediocre but so is KLM's but i would rather fly KLM purely because of the staff!!
AI hasn't rolled out its new product in the International Market. It's currently being tested in Domestic sectors only. AI will start rolling out its revamped product only from May 24 starting Delhi to Dubai. Its going to take 4-5 years for the entire revamp
yes i think air india can make a come back and i belive they will do just that
For the country’s sake, Air India has to succeed
The TATA’s are betting big on it. They’re known to turn around dead brands, Air India will add to that list

The tail colors should have been the colors of the Indian flag

Singapore Airlines owns about 25% stake in Air India, it surely will succeed with help of TATA & SA together.
