But if I know he’s not actively showing interest in the relationship like msging me first or msging me whenever - i would just bring it up like “yo can u text me more or reply back frequently?” If the convo is just “how come?” “Because it’s nice to know the person I’m interested in is talking to me back?” “I’m just busy” “Ok doing what?” “Stuff” “Stuff. So you’re busy all the time to text me back cause you’re doing stuff” At this point, it shows they don’t have enough interest in talking to you so break up with them cause they’re wasting your time. Unless they respond like “Sorry, i’ve just been busy with ____ lately that I haven’t been talking a lot” thats 100% fine. But if they’re not actively showing interest or willing to communicate and start showing signs of irritants of you having to explain your feels, girl gtfo asap. It sucks that she had to see these msgs on her bf phone from other girls. But what wasn’t cool was her keeping it to herself. I get there are privacy issues like “why are u looking at my phone?” But you can just explain you notice there were so many girls msg on your notification listings - how can i not notice it if your phone is ringing with all these numbers homie? True. I talk to my best friends while I’m on the toilet, waiting on lines, giving them updates while I study. I’m still more productive than everyone else I know. There’s always something to talk about- and if the other person isn’t able to talk to you about anything, then the relationship isn’t quite there yet. If the person also doesn’t see it eye to eye, then it needs to worked on, else it’ll end.

I have the same story as yours about my ex. He didnt text me first and i should be the one to text him. One time i called him but he rejected my phone and he turned off his phone and that day was our 4th years anniversary (we were in long distance relationship, i went to another city for college). I didnt ask him a single question because i'm afraid to find out something thay i dont want to hear. And i didnt called it off, we still together while we were just texting each other once in few months till i went back and he begged me to be with him while i'm about to call it off face to face. I agreed and everything went well before i had to go back to college and he became over protective and after 5 years together we ended it up.
Gosh I’ve been through this. If I don’t text him first he would never text me sometimes. I even had to wait a couple days once. It’s not worth it but what can we do when we love them so much, right?
I hope this girl ends up finding a much better man. If not, being single is a lot better than having a cheater smh
