I just discovered Sofubi, thanks for the video.
great video man, not a lot of places to learn more about these stuff!
Thanks for making this video! Just purchased several Gargamel and Bullmark toys and am looking forward to moving toward other artists

Awesome video!
I found a Kikkake Sammo Hung Green Rock looking dude today at a thrift store today. I can’t find out much about this specific one.
These toys are pretty neat and I think the collecting bug bit me.
Thanks, this is helpful. It's hard to find any info about the properties of the material and this is just what I needed.
One question I still have is what are approximate production numbers for sofubi, and do artists reissue the same color after its original run? I know that the most rare ones are typically not reissued and produced in quantities between a couple and a couple dozens, but what is considered a large production run for sofubi? This probably varies greatly from artist to artist, but for example in Konatsuya's case what do you think is the most figures she makes of a single most common variant?
I am glad you're enjoying the content! To answer your question; it does depend greatly on the factory where the figure is being pulled. I believe the largest sofubi factory still in operation is Obitsu, and they can do runs of around 100 which is exceptionally large. Most runs of a typical figure are probably like 40-50 (I'm really not positive though, this is an educated estimate). "Micro runs" are typically considered less than 10. Smaller factories like shirahama for example do smaller runs but are also usually quicker to experiment with techniques like marbling and glitter.
An artist could theoretically release a colorway over and over again, it's just a matter of if they'd want to. There's so many fun colors and effects you can do with sofubi, so artists usually just push forward and don't look back!

Wonder Goblin is great🤘
It puts the lotion on it's skin, or else it gets the hose again.
