oh my, GO BUY A NAS I understand having a cloud back up is an important part of data redundancy, but you could buy a nas and use a service like backblaze, which is cheaper but it is slower but it intended to be a back up and not "high" availability (have fun telling me why im dumb fellow commenters)
In Russia I pay for 5Tb cloud storage 9$ per year. lol The speed, organisation and so on one of the best in the world. I guess better or the same as Dropbox. 25Tb cloud cost you about 50$ per year. Not a joke.
We should at least have reliable portable hdds at this point, but every portable HDD has a life expectancy of 3-5 years. I'd trust a 15 year old laptop HDD more than the WD passports or the toshiba canvios. Lame technology progression
GAHHH DAMN DAWG 😭 I’ll stick to hardware until I breakthrough
why don't you have a home server that you can access
Please look at buying a nas you could save so much money! If you use a nas and a VPN you can access your files anywhere
You know you can build/buy your own home server, and access it all over the world!

Get a nas bro
The camera work is insane
dude build a home server
Storage is wild expensive because it's the easiest way to milk the consumer. We should be having reliable 100TB external SSDs by now lol
