"Howling Good Times" was a killer record and should have outsould anything in the stores by the Black Crowes etc. Dave K. - love you. Great band with Mark & Carl as rhythm section, Glenn Tranter, Nikki Sudden... Miss you. Tom
Can't You See I Need You, my song title from '86. Walking Contradiction likewise, but thankfully Poodle Dog...we both stole that from Rufus Thomas and in both cases the songs transpired into nothing. He also said to DT " I played lead guitar on all that, you know" LOL Dave I love you to bits, but please. The later lineup made some fabulous records, I always liked this, filmed by the " coughs" rather taciturn Steve Gridley in some god forsaken hole, probably Robannas rehearsal studio. God Save Us Poor Sinners is a truly great rock& roll track. In truth, I was never that close to Nikki. He used to tell me he " loved" me, but I didn't believe him. It was still a shock when he died, though. Dave was a very different kind of person. He was a very interesting, spiritual sort of man, he was a close friend. M.
God Bless the Jacobites, May their beautiful souls brighten the gates of heaven....
