my elbow was resting on the bell button. I kept hearing a doorbell ringing in the kitchen when a waitress came running out and gently took my elbow off the bell button
Thank you for this video! Your videos are really helpful since i am coming to Seoul in 6 days. I was wondering if they provide fork in korean restaurants since I am really bad with chopsticks and i am glad they do when requested. What about in traditional markets? Would it be just chopstick? 🤔
Hello~^^ nice to see u and thanks for your comment! Most restaurants will have forks so of course, you can ask for them. And as for traditional markets, some of the restaurants may not have forks so I suggest you may carry disposable forks for one-time use in your bag:) You can get them at convenience stores or supermarkets^^!
😊 Thanks for your comment! Oh you are coming to Korea so soon! Welcome:) You now have about 17 more days before your visit! You are coming when the weather is perfect! I hope you will have a great time here😍😍!
Hello~^^ nice to see you and thank you so much for your lovely comment 😊 ^^ Thank you for watching in Sri Lanka! I heard Sri Lanka is so beautiful and would love to visit someday:)! 😍 Hope to see you again:)!
Very helpful. I’m allergic to MSG but want to go to Korea very much. Could you give me tips & ways to avoid getting this in anything I order? Thank you
Hello:).nice to see you! I am glad you found my video😍😍! Oh you are allergic to MSG ~ it is true that most Korean restaurants seem to use msg when they cook it 😭😭 So I think the best way is to ask restaurant servers to let the chef know you are allergic to msg and not to use it for you! Then they will try not to use it when they cook for you:)
Hi, Deborah:) Thanks for coming back and watching the video as soon as it is up😍 It is so kind of you to invite me to a meal:) I am in Seoul! It would be so nice to see you! By the way, I have searched for information for your jeju trip! There seems to be a good travel company in Jeju that specializes in tours for foreign tourists! I will leave a link here and you can talk to them and see how it goes! I don't know them personally but they have been operating tours for some years so they may be good! instabio.cc/jejufabio And as for the klook, I think klook seems to offer more programs for a good price value than viator! So see what klook can offer and if you have any questions, let me know:)!
I'm going to Korea in April 2025 for 3 weeks. I'll be recreating pictures that my father took while he was there with the US Army from 1953 to 1955. Since I'll be a solo traveler, and if I'm at a restaurant that only serves 2 portions, is it polite to invite a stranger to have dinner with me at my cost? I thought this might be a good way to meet new people. I enjoy your videos.
When I first moved to Korea in 1989, I was very curious about what evidence or wreckage would still be visible from the war. Surprisingly, almost nothing! You could see all the damage to Seoul Station (holes from small arms and tanks were crudely filled and very recognizable. This has since been fully repaired). I was also surprised that literally nobody talked about it. It never came up in conversation. Perhaps 40 years was still too soon. Your photo re-creation project sounds awesome. I have seen many posted online from WW2. It would be amazing to see this from Korea. Feel free to publish these on a website once the project is finished!
@@nathanhannah9664 I'm in Daegu, when we go hiking in the mountains you can see evidence of artillery placements and bomb craters... a lot of hiking trails and hiking clubs in Korea
@@bratis99 my trip will start first in Jinju and Busan for the first week. Then will go North to Seoul, Myeongdong, the DMZ, and then the Incheon area.
Hello unnie.. I heard that two people can't order one portion. Actually, cause we are tourists, there must be a lot of food that we want to try. So we just want to order one portion. 😢😅
Hello:) good to see you again! I have s solution for you! Go to food courts in major department stores and you can order one portion of whatever you feel like eating 😍😍:)!

I live here, Korean is absolutely not even close to what it was in 1955,
@@bratis99 I know that. It has taken a lot of research and help to find the spots where my father stood when he took his pictures.
