Amazing set. I love this band for making hardcore music better and the shows more fun to go to. Look at this audience, its not a blender of shirtless dudes punching each other, its bunch of kids dancing, singing and having a good time. Its taken the violent aspect away from hardcore music while still being heavy and riff driven. God bless this band for mixing the best elements of punk and hardcore music together in these perfect songs. They look great too, all new instruments and gear, love the use of the roto toms for instrumentals and solos.
In a way I miss the violent aspect of hardcore. I'm a man of the early-mid 80s when going to most shows posed a real danger in the pit. Heck, just going to some shows was dangerous. Turnstile is my current favorite band, and I do love their attitude, music, message, and the softer crowds (even at 51 I can dance & dive at their shows without worry), but I still miss the danger of early punk/hardcore gigs.

ilove pogo punk style everyones doing it so much fun not that fucking empty space in front of the stage. once an asshole no idea how came straight into the right muscke of my leg during a hc show and i walked like shit for days and the pain.... considering that i swim and train and do sport in genera really sucks. never happened to a punk show. so much more respect and people dancing ad stage diving too but no hole in front of the stage no empty space in the middle of the people that sucks
