So many ppl asked so here’s the answer: bees use cars when they can fly for the same reason human use cars when they can walk/run
Exactly
No we cant run as fast as car but bees can
I've seen quite a lot of hate comments on this movie but broo the animation is just... If people just know how hard it is to animate then they would appreciate atleast the effort
This film did take a lot of work.
@@ModwalletOFFICIALgood animation but like the plot is a fever dream
If the bee movie had laugh tracks it would basically be Seinfeld: The Movie
4:14 this quote will never not get me giggling
Wtf!?
SWEET HOME ALABAMA
It’s gross!
Knowing that there's a Queen bee (That we never see), they probably all are her offspring, so it makes sense that they'd all be related.
This scene feels so different to watch as an adult lmao
real
ESPECIALLY when you realise they live for a month at most
I’m 21 and still don’t get it…
@@davidachristman "Graduating class of... 9:15!" lmao
I just now realised at 3:09 that after it reapeats in spanish. Which implys their are spanish speaking bees. Even tho they all have the same queen. 😮
I don't get why that's wrong or weird
oh that is very odd
@@TheLatinoRedneckCowboy cause why would they speak diff languages
@@TheLatinoRedneckCowboy That's because you have Asperger's
It’s just kind of funny that in an enclosed society that has no communication with the outside world, there are somehow still different languages.
Also, why is Honex owned by a parent corporation, Honeyco, if the bees all work for the same company. Like, what other parent companies are there in the hive?
“So you’ll just work us to death?” Well the longest a bee can live is around two years so might as well make the best of it lol
Considering that they take only 3 day of their school lives (Grade, High, and College) it makes sense.
one thin I'll never understand is why they drive cars when they have perfectly good wings to use to fly around
Yea and why do we use cars on the highway when most people have legs
@@lawrdhalfmercy2361I was going to comment the same
@@lawrdhalfmercy2361Because the world is too big? Their hive can’t be that big compared to themselves but I guess in the movie it is
This is actually kind of brought up in the movie in a scene between Vanessa and Barry.
"Why don't you fly everywhere?"
"It's exhausting! Why don't you run everywhere?"
Why don’t you run everywhere
It's disturbing how I know this entire movies script by heart.
This film is so good!
I agree. It’s a B tier movie!(see what I did there?)
Wow, life is a lot faster for bees.
3 days in school.
And graduation ceremony is only a few seconds.
More time for them to work.
What's the DEALLLL with stingers? "And now for my ultimate self defence move, I will rip out my own guts".
5:41 lol it took me until today to know why Barry wasn’t smiling in the picture
I just think it’s weird that he’s the only one who’s concerned.
@user-we4yd6df4w well he's like me. He's different
Concerned about having one job for the rest of his life

Barry B. Benson, an idealistic honey bee who has the ability to talk to humans, has recently graduated from college and is about to enter the hive's Honex Industries honey-making workforce with his best friend, Adam Flayman. Barry is initially excited to join the workforce, but his ambitious, insubordinate attitude emerges upon discovering that his choice of job will never change once picked. Later, the two bees run into a group of Pollen Jocks, bees who collect pollen from flowers outside the hive, and they offer to take Barry with them if he is "bee enough". While on his first pollen-gathering expedition in New York City, Barry gets lost in the rain, and ends up on the balcony of a human florist named Vanessa Bloome. Upon noticing Barry, Vanessa's boyfriend Ken attempts to squash him, but Vanessa gently catches and releases Barry outside the window, saving his life.

Heh this movie perpetuates most of the incorrect common ideas about bees.
Main two being the whole “bees shouldn’t be able to fly” thing. That’s not true. They just don’t use the same mechanism to fly that other flying creatures like birds do, we perfectly understand how they fly.
Second being the whole “a bee can only sting once then dies” thing. Not true. That only applies when bees sting specific animals like humans, our skin makes the stinger get stuck so when the bee tries to full off it rips it’s stinger off. But bees can sting other bee species, wasps and other insects over and over just fine.
Reminds me of the titanic movie, people watch it and take the stuff as fact and regurgitate it to make themselves look knowledgeable when they’re really just too lazy to verify anything they see or hear.
Sounds like you might have preferred some of the deleted scenes.

The bee movie script
According to all known laws of aviation, there is no way a bee should be able to fly. Its wings are too small to get its fat little body off the ground. The bee, of course, flies anyway because bees don't care what humans think is impossible. Yellow, black. Yellow, black. Yellow, black. Yellow, black. Ooh, black and yellow! Let's shake it up a little. Barry! Breakfast is ready! Ooming! Hang on a second. Hello? - Barry? - Adam? - Oan you believe this is happening? - I can't. I'll pick you up. Looking sharp. Use the stairs. Your father paid good money for those. Sorry. I'm excited. Here's the graduate. We're very proud of you, son. A perfect report card, all B's. Very proud. Ma! I got a thing going here. - You got lint on your fuzz. - Ow! That's me! - Wave to us! We'll be in row 118,000. - Bye! Barry, I told you, stop flying in the house! - Hey, Adam. - Hey, Barry. - Is that fuzz gel? - A little. Special day, graduation. Never thought I'd make it. Three days grade school, three days high school. Those were awkward. Three days college. I'm glad I took a day and hitchhiked around the hive. You did come back different. - Hi, Barry. - Artie, growing a mustache? Looks good. - Hear about Frankie? - Yeah. - You going to the funeral? - No, I'm not going. Everybody knows, sting someone, you die. Don't waste it on a squirrel. Such a hothead. I guess he could have just gotten out of the way. I love this incorporating an amusement park into our day. That's why we don't need vacations. Boy, quite a bit of pomp... under the circumstances. - Well, Adam, today we are men. - We are! - Bee-men. - Amen! Hallelujah! Welcome to Honex, a division of Honesco and a part of the Hexagon Group. This is it! Wow. Wow. We know that you, as a bee, have worked your whole life to get to the point where you can work for your whole life. Honey begins when our valiant Pollen Jocks bring the nectar to the hive. Our top-secret formula is automatically color-corrected, scent-adjusted and bubble-contoured into this soothing sweet syrup with its distinctive golden glow you know as... Honey! - That girl was hot. - She's my cousin! - She is? - Yes, we're all cousins. - Right. You're right. - At Honex, we constantly strive to improve every aspect of bee existence. Here we have our latest advancement, the Krelman. - What does that do? - Oatches that little strand of honey that hangs after you pour it. Saves us millions. Oan anyone work on the Krelman? Of course. Most bee jobs are small ones. But bees know that every small job, if it's done well, means a lot. But choose carefully because you'll stay in the job you pick for the rest of your life. The same job the rest of your life? I didn't know that. What's the difference? You'll be happy to know that bees, as a species, haven't had one day off in 27 million years. So you'll just work us to death? We'll sure try. Wow! That blew my mind! "What's the difference?" How can you say that? One job forever? That's an insane choice to have to make. I'm relieved. Now we only have to make one decision in life. But, Adam, how could they never have told us that? Why would you question anything? We're bees. We're the most perfectly functioning society on Earth. You ever think maybe things work a little too well here? Like what? Give me one example. I don't know. But you know what I'm talking about. Please clear the gate. Royal Nectar Force on approach. Wait a second. Oheck it out. - Hey, those are Pollen Jocks! - Wow. I've never seen them this close. They know what it's like outside the hive.
