Some EU/Legends entries are not only vastly superior to what the sequel trilogy is, but also were the best thing that happened to the franchise since ROTJ ended! Shadows of the Empire game, and other media projects Dark Forces / Jedi Knight series games, comics, novels, especially the games Jedi Knight & Mysteries of the Sith Everything that has Thrawn in it (Legends, mostly written material) Same goes for Mara Jade Rogue Squadron stuff, novels and mostly just the first game Force Commander, even if the graphics aged rather badly And the expansion to Empire at War called Forces of Corruption had a very satisfying Single Player campaign even if the faction is questionable KotOR 1 & 2 (maybe even SWTOR because why not) And if someone likes the prequels, there is Republic Commando & Episode I Racer ! Also all materials that have Darth Krayt and his stuff (it is set after Ep6 but is set up in the prequels)
Don't forget the name for Force Awakens is a very lazy name considering there's Star Wars The Force Unleashed, which was the original story between SW3 and 4.
It is a shame we never got more content with Desann or Tavion. For as bad guys and people who took possession of Imperial power post-ROTJ they were pretty interesting. Hope you do Brakiss or Kueller in a vid sometime in the future.
Honestly Jedi Knight 2: Jedi Outcast was the best 3rd/1st person Star Wars game I have ever played. Lots of good Force Powers, good story and plot, diverse Enemies with good AI and the Reborn and Shadowtroopers felt genuinely deadly and dangerous. Even the Reborn came in different power ranks/classes. "Strange. He looked like a Jedi and fought like a Jedi, but his power felt so warped." Desann was the best Villain because he had a evil twisted purpose unlike Kylo Ren. Desann: "Thanks to you, the weakling Jedi who scorned me will soon be erased from history, replaced by a new race of warriors. Strong warriors. Warriors who know that the Force is not a shield to protect the useless, but is in reality a weapon to empower the worthy!"

@yourface0707 Dark Jedi serve no one but themselves, they don't value the Sith as an organization and they do not uphold the Sith ideals. Darth Zannah came across one of them and he was a rich man who lived in a great home and he had a red lightsaber because he mainly just used the Dark Side to increase his wealth. Desann was someone that answered to Hethrir who used to be a Sith Apprentice under Darth Vader but he was only a dark side adept and was not taught any core values of the Sith. After the Empire's defeat at the Battle of Endor he became head of the Empire Reborn program and came across Luke Skywalker's fallen apprentice Desann.

I just love how Katarn breaks Desann down at the end, cutting off his villain monologue so calmly and dismissively, "None of that's gonna happen Desann. Most of your Shadowtroopers are being mopped up by real Jedi. Ones who've been trained to use the Force. The rest blew up with your ship." Then puts Desann into the category of the weak by offering to let him rejoin the Jedi for forgiveness.
So Disney just decided to take The Story of Desann and make it into an emotionally unstable Disney Villain who has no idea what's going on or what to do and named him Kylo Ren. So basically stealing The Story of Desann, Ok got it.
Except kylo Ren did far more damage to Luke's Jedi then Desann did. He at least killed one Jedi when he turned, Kylo turned a six or seven of them and then slaughtered the rest.

So Desann was a Trainee Jedi Bully then killed another student because he's a bully then got angry and confused why he got kicked out and went all EMO Sith on everyone calling his Imperial friends up? Desann sounds like a twat who doesn't understand consequences..... XD
Animations were goof, and felt rushed, maps were uglier, new character models were uglier (Luke for example), and the lighting in levels was really poor, and some lighting doesn’t work properly in cutscenes.

How was Jedi academy II worse graphically?
Animations were goof, and felt rushed, maps were uglier, new character models were uglier (Luke for example), and the lighting in levels was really poor, and some lighting doesn’t work properly in cutscenes.
