Like your rant. I myself do crocheting and sewing for my customers as a side hustle. I learned not to compare my work when I was in fashion designing school when I took a crochet/ knit class. Honestly I get it. I feel that way a lot! But I started crocheting in April, I have to realize everything takes times and I can’t have 18,000 projects going on at once. You’re not alone ❤
I started crocheting last year and I mainly make amigurumis and tamagotchi cases. Last year I tried to do a sleeve top like the one you have and I really liked it! I have a bunch of tutorials on my playlist to crochet more clothes for myself and try to be more sustainable. BUT... I would look at the top I wanted to make and immediately think "How am I going to be able to make that? It's not going to look like that... etc. etc.". I have no idea why I have that mindset. It's as if I get overwhelmed by the idea of it and can only do small projects.
Stop and enjoy the gift. Your top is beautiful. Did you make that? Pray. We are all not prefect. Be happy where you are. Do this on love. Stop self doubting. One step at a time. ❤
sweetie Ive been doing crochet and knit for over 60 years (yes Im old) I always have 3 or 4 projects going at the same time. Take your time and have fun with it. We all think others can do it better that we do, But guess what Ive seen them make mistakes and start over again We all do it. Your granny square blanket is very pretty!!

Okay so imma be honest! I don’t know why but I cannot read patterns, I’m more visual 😩 but not every thing I wanna make will be in a video so I definitely wanna get better
