I think that the hologram part of the deal is as unnecessary as it is offensively captivating and I love it. It wouldn’t have been the same without it, honestly, lol
“Twilight of the gods” is probably the most overlooked song in this album but it is definitely the best - the epic guitars, the drums that shatters buildings and turn them into parking lots and the freaking final scream of Michael Kiske… To me this is the song that had planted the seeds from which had surfaced the idea for “Eagle fly free”. The new album - All killer- no filler. Nobody seems to talk about “Robot king” unless it a negative criticism that it’s unnecessary long and extended, but I think it is a perfectly balanced song in which you have the epic verses, the pre-pre-chorus, pre-chorus that get gradually more epic and the simplistic but extremely payoff in the chorus “ROBOT KING !!” is orgasmic. Now in the Russian music streaming service Yandex.Музыка "Helloween" took 5th position among their realises after both "Keepers", "The dark ride" and "My God-Given Right". I think it well deserved result. Disk is very good!!
Fabulous album and a big return to form for the band as a whole. The return of Hansen and Kiske has elevated the band to the level of past glories. Saw them live back in 2016(?) and waiting to see them again next year. Fave track: Angel or Skyfall.
Twilight of the Gods is a great piece. I also loved the whole Keeper Pt 2 album as well as well. Other soft spot in my heart albums are Master of the Rings and Time of the Oath. Some of the others didn't quite gel for me but I still like many songs off those as well.
