How mahitos domain works: The closer someone gets to the mahito user, the lower the bar on their left becomes. If it reaches the bottom, they get oneshot, no matter what. This is why the domain only lasts around 10 seconds- because you just have to RUN AWAY for as long as you can. Your bar doesnt heal either. so you cant really delay them. just RUN.
It's hard to run though because the domain is smaller on the inside and the sword mode dash and because it's smaller it's way easier to get out of the way of the domain.
hammer isn't really good because of the slow m1s which are impossible to use for people with high ping, the dash ability is good tho for bypassing block

Also megumi has super low health compared to the other characters and his moves don't do a ton of damage except nue and you can still counter that.

Mahito's focus strike has actually 2 finishers, The normal one you showed on the video, and the black flash variant.

Idk if you covered it or not, but Megumi got a HUGE buff. You can no longer counter rabbit escape, which just makes the character 10x better.
