I can't believe how much better your production values are! It's been a long time since I've watched you Rahdo and I really love how you've improved. Thanks for the playthrough. I love Mindclash and was getting this already and this just made me want it sooner.
1:24:35 Didn't you miss Jen's secondary action , also using your dice in it would have been worth -2 for assembly and more bonuses or maybe build wall?
Great production 👌 Great review quality 👍 Perfect game run 💪 The only thing to regret about ,there will be no gamenight to watch . I wish I could watch you folks playing a game once.
Was thinking this looked great until the Dino attack phase... seems like the traps and walls are a little too luck dependent, and then the reward phase for that being a mini game that will only add onto the game’s length. I’m curious about how many times a Dino attack takes place during one full game of this?
i didn't count. upwards of a half dozen, i'd say. the intro version of the game has a very different take on the rewards 'minigame' where players resolve simultaneously, making it much quicker :)
Yeah the traps and walls are random, but that adds some tension to it. The rest of combat is deterministic. I'm going to try this game sometime soon, it's set up, I just need to make myself learn it.
I am really not a fan of the board. The color palate is too jarring for me but I am sure some people will like it. The opacity of the white blocks surrounding the icons makes everything extra messy.
@@jartree pocket chess must be a terribel game for you then. Not playing a game because it has a color palette that isnt perfect instead of not playing it because it has bad gameplay mechanics seems a bit strange.
I seem some of the DNA of Anachrony within this game. I am on the fence about this title. It does come across as a little convoluted and busy for my own tastes, but I am watching the campaign with interest.
Nice job! I'll back this one but won't decide if I'll keep it or trade/sell till later. I love mindclash games but hard to get to the table. Not the kind of game my wife will play and do I really need to spend $150 to play it 1-2 with my group?
tbh, i prefer the standees for the leader characters. but for dinos, grey globs of plastic feel more natural, since one tends to think of the sterotypical grey skin from jurassic park :)
I love how you are able to show close ups of the cards. I haven’t seen anyone do it this way before and it really helps! 👍
yeah, i started doing it a year ago or so... i'm surprised i haven't seen others picking it up yet
What stand/camera do you use to show close ups?
Hey man i love your t-shirt... you are now my absolute favorite game reviewer so happy people stand for equality :) you made my day

yup, all it took was me actually taking my channel a little bit seriously for a change! :)
@@rahdo thanks friend! It looks awesome. I really like the way you our stuff in the foreground.
I just wanted to chime in and say I really appreciate your videos, and to echo another here, your production quality has greatly improved. Thank you!

you are correct, forgot Jen's secondary action... the rest of your comment I didn't understood it
@@PauloRenato23 Just examples of likely results of secondary actions.
Thanks for The great runthrough Rahdo, I love mindclash games but for whatever reason I am not sold on This one Just yet.......

i hope to appear on gamenight at some point. i just need to get down to socal!
Super excited for this game.

So Gilligan's Island meets Land of the Lost? 🤔
I'm 20 minutes in and I can't tell if this is a semi-coop or not. Could someone let me know if it is. Thanks. And thanks for the video, Rahdo.
100% competitive
Thanks
Thanks for the runthrough. I’m not sold on this, it looks too cluttered and messy for my liking. Am still watching it though 👀

jartree Yeah, the first thing I thought when I saw the board was that it looks too busy.
@@jartree Does it matter. its a game, gameplay is the most important factor.
@@rogueninja185 of course it matters. Otherwise everyone would just play art-less print and play games.

53:57 he should've had 4 points to end up at 18?

Wow, Richard - this must be your longest runthrough video ever!
it might very well be. and then there was episode 2 as well. poor paulo! :)
Wait- -did you just say playing with the minis is “much cooler” than using the standees? I was thinking you preferred standees?

At 49:15 you return your third story to the supply.
It was already noted in the Klingon Subtitles
@@PauloRenato23 Sorry. I have Klingon on all the time but I didn't see any notes pop up
Close call @ 44:15! :)
hehe, i forgot all about that. thanks for pointing it out, i think i'll make a quick snip to keep it a bit more family friendly :)
So this is Lost with Dinosaurs. Sold.
similarly and the same?
so nice i said it twice! :)
The game looks wonderful but why do these companies have to make the cover art so cheesy.
Oh, and Rhado...you re fun as hell!
A little too busy for my taste. And 100$ on a Kickstarter shipping with standees? No thx! Excellent production on this video though 🙂
Looks great, but watching it almost felt like an infomercial, but wait, here's another Dice.
