doesn’t matter. the movement towards hybrid is direct result of “ev nonsense “. what is most important is that ice-lovers like yourself are eating crows again
PHEV's are the best choice if you drive a lot more city and/or you still want snappy performance. Hybrids are the best choice if you drive a lot more highway and/or don't care about snappy performance. ICE is the best choice for moderate to heavy hauling and towing vehicles. EV's are the best choice if you like spending way more money for a lot less vehicle.
Tesla is the best car company ever! No gas stations, No oil changes, No smog check, No corrupt dealership, No catalytic converter and as fast as a $650,000 Lamborghini.
Yeah let’s buy a car with a battery that will be worthless in 8 years. And a underpowered gas engine that has to compensate for the weight of the dead battery
If you are doing a lot of city driving, hybrids make a lot of sense.
hybrid for care free travel, no anxiety related to charging....
Tesla bros are not going to like this news.
Haven’t you realized, when someone buys a Tesla their IQ increases by 20 points.

I’m thinking Toyota’s marketing dept is already changing the company motto to ‘We Told You So’
Toyota fired their CEO for saying it tho
Everyone was crapping on Toyota for not going headfirst into EV’s. Now they’re looking pretty smart compared to Ford & GM.
Not just looking smart, actually are smart. They know what they are doing.
Toyota caught a lot of crap for their tepid EV adoption, but looks who’s laughing now!
Wait…I’m pretty sure Ford sales lots of hybrid??
Toyota is the smartest of them all. They have been focused on hybrids. They didn't buy into the EV nonsense.

Any older model is superior to a 2024 model! Let Hertz buy the inventory. ☺️

toyota: long term strategic practical thinking vs everyone else: short term, fun, in the moment, attention getters, very obvious by now :)
Ultimately we’re going electric. That said it makes more sense to stick with pure players
Hybrids are the answer, definitely NOT EVs...
🤣😆😂😅
I like what Li Auto offers: an electric engine that can use a gas generator when needed.
Yeah let’s buy a car with a battery that will be worthless in 8 years. And a underpowered gas engine that has to compensate for the weight of the dead battery
Wrong. Toyota has been using hybrid powertrains for 25 years now. There are some of the longest lasting and most durable powertrains on the market.
Hybrids only use a small batterie and they are cheap and easy to change!
@@user-vx7vi3vq1c If their batteries are so good, why not go buy the full EV?
