Tiana Mehta was diagnosed with PDD NOS when she was 2 years 7 months.
PDD was one of several previously separate subtypes of autism that were folded into the single diagnosis of autism spectrum disorder (ASD) with the publication of the DSM-5 diagnostic manual in 2013.
In this interview, I discuss the journey of parents with Tiana till today when she completed her graduation in Chemistry with first class and distinction.

Hi Roopa. Dr Bansal here. The actual cause of such neuro-atypical brains are still unknown. There are of-course various mechanisms and theories reported. However, genetics factors are known to contribute to the onset of ASD but cases are rare. Hence high chances of Normal kids being born to autistic parent (s).
