Mt. Bro thank you this is what im doing oil pump with water pump. Confused why we disconnect the transmission? Or lift by oil pan. Because the oil pan is what we are taki g off right And the tranny do we totally disconnect it. I really respect your knowledge Could you explain to me. On the backplate you take off with 6 screws om the tranny is that the rear .aim seal I hope to here from you i have much respect for you and your knowledge Savino
You gotta jack loosen the motor mount bolts and jack up the engine enough to get clearance to remove that back plate. One you get the back plate off you can access the two 10 mm nuts on the back of the oil pan. Otherwise you won't get the oil pan off
Hi Tee, i’m doing same exact thing. Can you tell me to take the back transmission/oil pan bracket off. Do you have to loosen transmission mount bolts besides the engine mount bolt when you raise engine to get that back bracket off? Thanks
When you film, try to keep the same orientation. Viewers will get lost because your turning the camera back and forth. I would recommend getting a creeper so you are not losing us during your transitioning.
back camera away from the object... a woman's bellybutton looks massive & you can't tell what it is unless you back up at least enough to see the torso.. get it?
For not being a mechanic you put together a pretty good video on the removal of the oil pan, thank you.

i had the most trouble taking mine out!
The hardest part for me was getting that back plate cover off to access the nuts in the back. Did you get it off?
Was your knock fixable?
Yes i caught it before it got to bad
@@trog9484 okay thanks mind started to make a noise and I’m hope it’s there bearing issues as well
@nick.100 I would check the lifters first make sure they aren't seized but if those are good then yea most likely bearings
To jack it up from the engine or transmission
I used the engine but you can do either
@@trog9484 aye my dude, what was the timeframe it took you to break it down and put it back together....I’m bout to attempt this for the first time...
@@swish2397 It took like 2 hours . The hardest part was getting the two 10 mm in the back of the oil pan. Other than that it was a breeze
@@trog9484 did you have to drain the transmission fluid too?
@@swish2397 nope. The only fluid drained was the oil and oil filter
