I’ve been buying H for years, and never noticed they changed the ribbon annually. Can you let us know what the last few years have been in a video, if the changes have been noteworthy?
They have different ribbons. Colours are always the same, the brown colour with white writing. The writing often has the year on it; additionally, there's something specific included for every year, this year it's "Une odyssée..." in French and "An Odyssey..." in English; last year, it was "Hermès 2020" and "Le geste innovant" (French) and "Innovation in the making" (English), in 2019 it was (you already guessed it - ) "Hermès 2019" and "à la pursuits des rêves..." (French) and "in the pursuit of dreams..." (English), for Christmas, it's "Hermès" and "Noël!", and additionally, they have that "Hermès" plus "Hermèsistible adj. (er-me-zis-tible)" and a ribbon that just says "Hermès - Paris". There's also a carriage with a horse on the ribbon (that's usually the same, besides from the Christmas ribbon, where the carriage is replaced by a sleigh), and sometimes, there are additionally specific symbols or people on the ribbon, this usually fits the theme of the quote they used.
The lighting piece is absolutely fabulous, love it !! Question for you, if I see something I like in hermes website and I purchase it. Will this online purchase count as my buying history ?
