I think John Goblikon is their “manager”. A lot of people get it mistaken that he’s the singer. Pretty fun little gimmick for sure. And the makeup is really well done. He does an interview show with musicians and other famous cats too.

They've never taken themselves seriously, but the 2nd album definitely took a bit more typical metal sound and was a bit less goofy than the first. And their videos are glorious. The name mixes this with a theme of goblins. There is a loose lore from their first album and on that involves goblins from space ravaging earth. Really, really, truly fun and talented, unique band.

Well to be fair the original Evil Dead was never meant to be a comedy. Sam Raimi just had no money and it was one of his first movies so it was just incredibly low budget and the end result was an unintentionally hilarious movie. Now for the sequels, he went all in on the comedy/horror angle. So the 2013 remake is basically the movie Sam Raimi wanted to make in 1981 but was never able to do.
