I dont think it's about "love" or "falling out of love". I study psychology and looking in a mental health perspective, I think that it's a matter of experiencing a 'burn out'. Like Billy said, he's been in the industry for 26 years and always made sure that people around him were happy. Hence, forgetting about himself. I'd like to say that this is common for most Filipino people (Filipino actors). It's just sad that he's accused of cheating just because he could not be able to justify or clarify what he feels exactly. In general, it's just sad how people use their feelings of depression as a reason or cause but others just dismiss it :(
