You could get a Jinhao one for work in the case someone decides to steal from you again, those are significantly cheaper and would be easier to replace! Sucks someone stole it from you tho :/
@@BlakesBroadcast have watched the video again and I can not with a retractable fountain pen 😅 It’s something in my brain that I’m afraid to damage the nib (I know it’s save) and I need a cap for a fountain pen 😁
Hi Blake, am considering the Capless Stipula and wanted to get your opinion on the pen and the dreaded hard start - dry out of the pen. If you do have what others have commented about, what have you found as the solution, if anything. Thanks for the feedback. Do very much enjoy your channel. Andrew
Hi Andrew, thank you for your comment! I haven't found a solution other than using the pen. I have no issues with the nib drying out / hard starting if I use it every other day. It's not a pen I'd recommend leaving filled for a week or more without use. I enjoy mine, but wouldn't recommend it to most people because it's expensive, heavy, a faff to use, and their QC is not very good (in my limited experience). I am not trying to put you off the pen, I just want to temper your expectations. It's beautiful and the nib is excellent. I've enjoyed most of my Stipula pens very much.
@@BlakesBroadcast Thanks for the head’s up, Blake, much appreciated. Have to think about these possible concerns and whether I could or want to put up with it. Ah, the joy of owning and using fountain pens, eh? ;-))
Yeah, I love that pen. Wasn't expecting to but it feels so good in hand. Mine had to go back to Italy to sort out the nib but now that it is writing properly I really enjoy it.
@@BlakesBroadcast …So happy to hear you did get your pen back restored to writing swimmingly well as it ought to, really. The Da Vinci is my favorite retractable nib fountain pen ever. It exudes so much style and pizzazz - and a swell writer, too. Expensive, but worth everything I paid for it.
Pilot VP is hands down the best pen I’ve ever owned. Sadly someone stole it off my desk
Buy a new one
Sorry to hear that. You could go for a used one or a cheaper model with an alloy nib instead of a gold nib.

Nice range of styles available, youu like the Curidas, I like the Dialog CC.
I just ordered the all black version of the Dialog CC. I am excited to try out that pen.
@@BlakesBroadcastI look forward to hearing what you think of it, esp. the price.
Oh these are stunning! I like a lot of these, especially the Lamy and last one
All of them are great pens...well maybe not the Stipula but I love it anyway.

Looking forward for stipula’s review
I'll be doing one after I have a bit more time with it. It's a heavy pen but really enjoyable to use.
Awesome
Thank you!

You are welcome!
"Let's design an upside-down fountain pen"
It's all a matter of perspective.
Mine is the Stipula Da Vinci

Montblanc Heritage 1912 / 1914
I missed the boat on those pens. I regret not getting one new.
