How To Make Heart Shape Chocolate Ganache Cake 🎂

  • Ingredients:
    1 and 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
    3/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
    1 tsp baking powder
    1/2 tsp baking soda
    1/2 tsp salt
    3/4 cup granulated sugar
    1/2 cup vegetable oil
    1 cup almond milk or any other non-dairy milk
    2 tsp vanilla extract
    2 tsp white vinegar
    For the ganache:
    1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
    1/2 cup heavy cream
    Instructions:
    Preheat your oven to 350°F (180°C). Grease and flour two heart-shaped cake pans and set aside.
    In a medium-sized mixing bowl, combine the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
    In a separate mixing bowl, mix together the sugar, oil, almond milk, vanilla extract and white vinegar until well combined.
    Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and mix until just combined.
    Divide the batter evenly between the two prepared cake pans.
    Bake for 20-25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the cake comes out clean.
    Allow the cakes to cool in the pans for 10 minutes, then remove them from the pans and place them on a wire rack to cool completely.
    To make the ganache, heat the heavy cream in a saucepan until it just begins to simmer. Remove from heat and add the chocolate chips, stirring until the chocolate is melted and the ganache is smooth.
    Once the cakes have cooled, place one of the cakes on a cake plate or serving dish. Spread a layer of ganache over the top of the first cake.
    Carefully place the second cake on top of the first, and spread the remaining ganache over the top and sides of the cake.
    Refrigerate the cake for at least 30 minutes to allow the ganache to set before serving.
