My favorite base spot! I've reached October 7th in my run and have killed over 1,500 zombies on normal population settings just from what the helicopter (set to often) brings in. It can get quite busy here since it's on the corner of a cell.

TIP: Since you have an empty cooking pot in the stove, fill it with water and put it back in... the next time you cook something, you can Sterilize your bandages at the same time. A couple of Sterilized bandages keeps infections down (one less thing to worry about).

One of my favorite things to do is build rooftop gardens. One time I dismantled a big section of the roof and walls off my neighbor's second story because I needed a lot of wood. I found out I could put dirt into pillowcases later on and I used them go carry dirt up to the top of the partially dismantled house and poured the dirt on the floor up there, and the game actually let me plant and grow corn in their new open-air master bedroom lol.
Not only is it extra protected from being trampled by zombies up there, but it looks cool too. Real "Fallout" vibe.
This kind of thing is what makes PZ so special. If you think of something that should work, there's a good chance it probably will work. The amount of freedom you have to be creative is just immense and I love it so much.

Gained a sub from me. I just bought the game and was looking for some mods. I think this pack is perfect, i think ill adjust settings so loot is much harder to find, and farming isnt so easy, and injuries are mkre dangerous and days much longer, perhaps 2-3 hours for one day. Im gonna test it out in single player and if i think i enjoy it perhaps ill open up a MP server. Probably solo-duo

I never built a entire house before. I do use the solar panel mod tho. I just restarted cause i died on my old toon from my microwave blowing up and catching everything on fire including myself. Wasn't paying full-attention.

Didn't know this game had time controls unless that's a mod, haven't payed the game but plan on trying it at some point once i get some spare money was wondering just how the time controls work, mainly pausing such as are you still able to use menus/loot while paused?
No the time controls are vanilla 👌🏻 when it’s paused to can view inventory’s but can’t interact with them, you used to be able to but think they patched it out, although there is probably a mod that enables it again 👌🏻

tried this once, at this exact spot as well last year.. died a lot lol..
made a nice base [a main house, a good looking garage, half completed separated kitchen.. all with lights and even water],
but with all the deaths i experienced, i felt so empty so I discontinued.. i hope you can do better at your save

you can absolutely pick up the battery bank you just pick it up like furniture and i think you need like 1 electrical to do so
Yeah the problem was tho one of the conditions is I can’t take pre made items in and I think I’d class that as pre made item unfortunately otherwise it would have been ideal

Well I do think you have the right idea of not being able to destroy, in real life if zombies was possible all scientist that have studied it agrees on the following.
Zombies aren't strong enough to break doors, walls or most type of fences they are able to break windows and might even be able to crawl in and over fences.
So you making it so they can't do it is close to how reality works, doesn't make it less scary because now they will pile up in front of your walls and buildings, and in such cases the weight might do something if there is enough or at least it makes you escaping impossible.
