The village where I was born, thank you for sharing this ❤
Did we drive past it once or was that where your grandparents lived? I recall something along those lines.
@@Newnamesameme2 we drove past where my grandparents lived but my parents lived with them and that was wher i was born xx
Oh my goodness I was right, gosh that was years ago we went there. There was also those lakes close by, I’ve never ever found them again !
Hope you are having a great holiday with your family, love the photo with Arthur in it .
I was born in happisburg. 1938. The cottage we had holiday have all gone. The cliffs at happisburg have been hit hard after they put the rocks at sea palling. And at the gas station …….???????? Why
Well I never did, something to look out for when we are next in North Norfolk. Edited to just ask Lisa, can you get the car near to where you can see it. My old legs are not what they used to be.
Yes you can sort of. Park at the lighthouse car park / beach car park and a short walk and you can see it from up at the top of the cliff. I never went on the beach.
Another great video!
Also the church was damaged by a stray German bomb during WW2 causing damage to all the windows on the Northern side and shrapnel damage can be seen inside the church including the font. You can notice the difference in the windows in each side as the damaged ones were replaced by modern glass.
I shall look out for the bell next time I go down there. I would not want to be out on the sea in that weather!
Nope , definitely could'nt hear the bell lol , maybe they should've put it the other way around , so many men losing their lives , so sad .
A man could fall in love at a place like this.
Absolutely
