In most Mythologies, Primordial Gods are so freaking powerful that many of the main Gods will not dare engage with them. In the case of Zeus vs Nyx, Zeus didn't want any smoke with the Goddess of Night (Daughter of Chaos) and legitimately pulled back with his army. So it's safe to say even from the source, there is a power difference and it's big enough to where Olympians are fodder to the Primordials.
this is straight up not true. Zeus was more cautious of being trapped in Nyx's infinite darkness and making an enemy of erebus. Zeus alone can solo the rest of olympus and has multiple primary source stating he is the most powerful being in existence. The Fates, who control destiny itself, are cautious of Zeus and he can outright tell them to change their minds. This happens multiple times in the Illiad and the fates are beyond influence of beings like Chaos and Nyx. Zeus is considering saving hector from his Fate to die in troy and the mere mention of this sends other gods into a panic at the realization of how strong Zeus truly is. 1v1 Zeus wins against anything in greek mythology more times than not (as long as he has his lightning bolt) and that is simply not up for discussion.

My money's on: 1) Odin didn't write the book; probably was someone older than him. Maybe his grandfather Buri or Father Borr. 2) He imprisoned Siegfried knowing Brunhilde would do anything to save him, even start Ragnarok. 3) Maybe the souls who die in Ragnarok are a necessary sacrifice for the tree of life and recurrecting the Primordial Gods.
That’s good theory actually I have a feeling that the Ragnarok Clause was written in as a secret Ritual Odin (and probably Loki) to gather powerful souls to revive either a primordial or the World Tree. The list of Fighters was also a for Odin to kill off anyone who’d stop him since most of the Gods who participated in the tournament aren’t just heavy hitters but also have some authority or motive to stop Odin. It’s also obvious of what would happen if Odin wins which will be everyone dies as the world resets to its primal state so Humans and Gods would be wiped out.
The prophecy said “Odin with the twin eyes” and “he’ll drink the chalice water”, Odin is mostly known as sacrificing his left eye to Yggdrasil to obtain knowledge, this could be prove that in his fight Odin might regain his left eye and fight with his original strenght, Brunihilde paid her respect to the fallen fighter by pouring water in different chalices and mourning them, still part of the prophecy read by Beelzebub was incomplete so we still Miss some context

My assumption is that Kintoki didn't fight/couldn't win against the guards of Tartarus because he doesn't have his Volundr yet. Humans still have no win condition against deities in battle without Valkyries (except Qin Shi Huang, top 5 in verse btw.)
Hey guys I know it’s totally random but here it is. I think it’s be cool for Rykard and the Serpent from Elden Ring to have a crossover in ROR. A god devouring servant fused with a demigod. It would be a fun dynamic to see in play granted you’d have to do a lot of writing to make it make sense it’s still would nonetheless be bad ass to see. Nostradamus mentioned these guards of Tartarus, so maybe he will join Buddha and Kintoki. He loves to cause problems for the gods, such as by destroying the bifrost, so he would be very willing to spite the gods again.
When it comes down to the fight of Buddha vs Beelzebub the fight would be one of Buddha dodging Beelzebub's attacks but not being able to hit him because of his staff's shield. But I believe that Buddha has more versatility in his weapons as we saw Zero transforming his weapon into multiple variations of destructive forms. Buddha may be able to do the same thing and with his vision he may be able to be quick enough to land a fatal hit.
Beelzebub says that Buddha could kill him, but that does not mean he will be able to. For Buddha's divone weapon, it's obvious he no longer has one. Keep in mind that Zero has already passed on.
