Great review. So, as far as I understood, Darbee is kinda advanced version of GT1080. 2 questions: 1) so, it has the same input lag as Optoma GT1080E model - 16ms, right? 2) Can you apply vertical trapeze correction in Game mode?
Scan Computers What is the vertical offset of the image? IOW, if I place the projector on the floor, 4 feet away from the wall, how far above the floor is the bottom and top of the projected image? Thinking about mounting projector to ceiling but I don't want the screen to be sitting on the floor.
After a Fair bit of research, I settled for this projector. At $1,000 Canadian I think it's a bargain. The only drawback I would say is you need a PERFECTLY FLAT screen when projecting an image from an UST projector, which imo affects the 'portability'. building own screen out of black and white spandex for about a hundred bucks.

The black levels and color depth and detail are far superior.
Nothing can be more exciting than this high-end equipment and generous space offerings that can provide you with a great fun.
Absolutely stunning bit of kit, very portable yet there's no loss of visual quality, and the connectivity options are awesome.

massive improvement in black, detail, colour and 3D depth. Its quiter, lighter, half as hot as the GT1080. 2D is way improved. Favourite thing atm.

Could this projector set within 3-4 meters from the screen and still produce 100" picture or it's only for close range?

Love the look of the picture even watching on YT, quite impressed by the fact there's no distortion in image either.

The distance you need to move it away to get a great viewable screen is amazing. My old projector needed about 2m to get a 48” screen.

Yes you are correct - the closer the projector is to the screen/surface, the more you will see and imperfections.

The bright display of this projector is very effective in overly lit places or even mostly outdoors for extra curricular activities.

You can buy an MHL add on which are quite expensive, or you could connect a google chromecast or similar and use that.
Juan Verano google chromecast as mentioned here or apple tv depending on your preferences.
