I think you missed the point of this video. Optimus just said that people shouldn’t trauma dump to a streamer. Explaining “my mom just died and I haven’t been doing well, so that’s why I haven’t been around” is not trauma dumping. That’s literally just explaining the reason she hadn’t been around, not going into unnecessary depth about how depressed and in grief she and her family are about her mother’s passing. There’s a HUGE difference there that you’re completely overlooking and misinterpreting. Optimus is directly blaming the streamer, but he’s also pointing out that saying stuff like “my dog died and I’ve been so depressed, been thinking about killing myself because of it” is not appropriate to say and is something you should bring up to a properly licensed and trained therapist, not to a random Twitch chat.

I was a "chat therapist" for awhile, I've talked to a lot of people who were talking about taking their own lives and other horrible things in private messaging, thankfully there are a lot of streamers and chats that take mental health for the viewers seriously, and that's what the chats I were in were all for, so I really wasn't the only one talking to people who would come in and talk about their trauma, this streamers reaction was horrible and more than likely made that poor viewer feel worse, I always feel like if people are willing to put something in a public chat, that's desperation, they want out and they don't know who else to talk to if they don't have a therapist for whatever reason, your veiwers mental health should be cared for, but this is my opinion on things, I get the argument that it's not the place for that sort of thing when everyone is there to have fun, but compared to someone's mental health and feeling like they have to hold it in, that can make it worse.
I like to think that most streamers and youtubers just have those days where they help some ones day seem brighter. I only hope to become a person like that one day. Although not everybody has the same opinion as I.

This brainless, insensitive streamer shamed this poor woman for simply answering a question, she wasn’t trauma dumping. He demands that no one talk about “bummer” subject matters on his stream and then proceeds to rant about ONLY that, wasting his own time and everyone else’s time. He could’ve briefly given his condolences and moved on, but no. It made too much sense for him.
Even if he didn't want to talk about he (and not counting "not engaging" because he didn't know that beforehand), he could have just said "I'm sorry about that" and let the topic die on it's own. Even giving him the benefit of the doubt (solely for the sake of playing devil's advocate), he still handled that terribly.
I'm pretty sure he made a video after the tweet and made the situation worse.
This is why twist streamer should stop asking people about their day, just simply say "welcome back" or something along them lines. So things like this can be avoided.

Bruh, the way he asked that question was like asking an old-time friend how they have been, and she probably have felt comfortable enough to be open about the situation, but the way he shat on her situation was not needed, also I don't know this streamer and their community, but that moderator didn't help the case at all kinda d¡crider-ish
