Glad to see Scrapman's commitment to this level and himself to get better. So many times saying something was impossible only to push himself until he discovered he could do it after all. Expanding his limits.
Your music editing in this was top notch. Several times the music had lulls while you made a particularly hard jump, then the music resumed triumphantly when you landed. Superb Mr. Scrapman.
Thanks for playing my map ! I'm glad i could make you suffer even more than last time . (You played another map of mine years ago ;D . map was called "the ultimate parkour " ) ( I havent fully watched the video yet, but i hope to see despair 😈) Edit: 32.33 oh wow i made sure you cant skip in any weird way with the pipes (they have a weird hitbox) , but i somewhow missed how you can totally skip by jumping onto the doorway. nice find ;D, you saved yourself some time 40:08 oh wow... thats another flaw, you also kinda skipped a few things in purple before , so that might be why you were so confused. be glad you skipped them bcs as i remember(its been some time) those jumps you would have had to make were pretty hard
You should make the next one with a hard mode switch at the very beginning that disables every single elevator so that if you fall you have to do it all over again 😂
I love how great the sound design and editing is in these vids. Might not be many visual effects, but he syncs the music up to important jumps and other things so greatly and also the perfectly cut screams made me laugh out loud (although halfway through the vid I got diarrhoea and made me want to just yelp in pain)
i would say "Core" is the hardest challenge pack. someone took 30 minutes to beat the first level, and there are 27 levels. one of which takes ~2 hours if you're unlucky
@@tl_s__w_t well this map ( rainbow_tower_ *idk* ) is only parkour, so core cannot be compared to a parkour only map if core is only *sometimes* parkour

For future parkour challenges it would have been cool if you added a "WASD/Shift&control" Cam. Like a program that sees what buttons you are pressing and shows it on the top right hand of the screen
You should play some of my easier parkour maps. I got like 10-20 on the workshop. Also, 42:08 you can jump 7 blocks if you have speed when you hit it cuz the game thinks the top one is a stair step.
Actually, to do a 7 block jump, you have to time your Ctrl. If you press it too early, you won't make the jump, but if you wait half a second, or something like that after jumping, and then press Ctrl, you will get much higher.
@@limonlx7182 I just opened the game to check because I haven't played in a while and it could have changed. I recorded a replay of me jumping and crouching early vs crouching late. I didn't move the camera between the jumps, and the bottom of my foot goes to the exact same pixel on the wall behind me. I can also get the 7 block jump while crouching as early as I can if I am full speed sprinting. I think you may notice crouching late helps because in Scrap mechanic you can walk in the air. If you crouch early, you slow down to crouching speed in the air, and may not be fast enough to "walk up the stairs".
I think we should all appreciate the big brains in creating such a course. It might take 15 mins for a 'pro' to complete it, lets take a min and think how long this must have taken to design, create and test it. 👏👏👏👏👏
been a while, but i think i worked on this parkour map from time to time , every few days a little over the span of like a few months (with long breaks) actually got motivated to make another now 😈even harder this time
Scrapman, I've been enjoying your videos so much, like they're fun to watch and they're well edited. You've improved a lot recently, and you're by far my favorite youtuber. I've never even thought about this but this video has made me realize why you're just the best. You deserve more subs than this I'm not gonna lie. Too bad the Scrap Mechanic community is too small
I know it can be frustrating and exhausting to play, but watching someone doing difficult parkour in games is SO satisfying to watch. Well done completing that challenge!
Such a well designed Challenge but I don't think I have the patience for all those tricky jumps and inevitable fails. Well done for sticking it out and completing it.
Yes we need more of these long videos almost an hour long we must have more because it's better that way and it makes it more interesting more 46 minute videos to an hour we need more I've been with the channel for probably 3 years now so I love the long videos keep up the good work man
That was amazing. The skill on display as you met each challenge was beyond impressive! Precision jump after precision jump. Persistence again and again. Bravo!
ngl i will say i like the longer episode. also i will say as someone who enjoys call of duty what your practically doing is strafe jumps alot of the time you can get outside of maps by doing them or get to tricky areas you wouldnt normally beable to reach i havent even beable to do one its hard af to do. would be cool to see you use more advanced movement type stuff in your own challenges.
little problem, idk when this happened but I noticed later in the video that the game footage was delayed so the audio and webcam would happen before the game. so when you missed a jump and said "Oh nO!" you would say that before you fell and its a bit confusing idk..
38:31 my guess is that you hit some sort of seam or weird part of the collision, so while your position kept getting reset, your velocity didn't, meaning you basically acted like there was no ceiling, but your height was locked to that of the ceiling 42:20 Again, SM weirdness is at play. I am guessing that because you are hitting the very corner, the game doesn't push you back as far as it normally would if you just hit it on the edge, meaning that you are just barely able to cling onto the top part of the collision and get up
For the second one I think it's just that if you walk against a ledge that's short enough, the game teleports you to the top of the ledge (to make stairs work), and it still works in midair, so you can jump, then walk up the last bit due to it being like a stair step
7 block jump depends on when you crouch. Scrapman, and I assume many others who use crouch jump, probably press Ctrl very quickly, but you actually have to wait a bit to get maximum height.
This is like that meme where the guy is struggling to swim and he barely makes it to the other side of a lap pool, turns around all serious and says "so, did you like my swimming?"
I'm starting to see some higher end MC parkor challanges done in scrap mechanic. You're in for a treat X} It's only a shame speed effects don't exist for players.
i think i know what that wierd floatiness might be... its either scrap mechanic being wierd with physics(as usual), or some wierd sprint-chrouch-jump-crouch-thing you do on accident due to nervous spasms on your fingers from parkouring this hard...
