That slam perfectly shows why Fist of Havoc needs adjusting. Not only does it act like a pillar, in such that no matter how high you are, it will still kill you. In addition. FoH can go through walls, as demonstrated in that video. Not only do you have a height advantage, but you are also to the right of where the stairs end, resulting in a wall between the corner he used FoH and where you were located. Other than that, great video! Love watching these. Keep up the amazing content.
I've been saying the same thing about titan smash for a very long time. Not only the circumference around the area of impact, but it also seems like there is a ridiculously high ceiling cap on it. Either way, you're videos are inspiring and you manage to pull some amazing plays. Keep doing good work.

Usually the only people complaining of other classes being op are hunters. That teather should be considered op due to the fact it cancels alreading going supers and prevents supers from being used as well as grenades AND slows down a guardian. Yeah it sucks to get caught in, but i dont hear MANY complaints from other classes. It sounds to me like hunters want everyone nerfed so they can dominate pvp unchallenged. Im glad they upped the titan supers. It helps in pve a great deal. Strikers used to not be able to kill shielded majors but now they can. So just get good or get wrecked. Love the channel bro. Keep em coming!
+GernaderJake there is a ton of inconsistency, thats for sure. the titan punch is still screwed up, among other things. the warlock stormcaller is disastrous until it meets the teather. i personally think hunters have the biggest advantage when i comes to supers. all 3 are devastating if used properly.
The Fist of Havoc needs to be reworked entirely imo because i fear that nerfing it is very dangerous seeing as the super itself is just a one time AOE that requires you to be very aggressive and actively get into a danger zone with your opponents. In this game i agree that there was no reason Jake should have been killed by that smash, but i've also seen instances where smash just doesn't do its job and feels like a waste of a super when enemies whom you thought were in range were just out of range. Personally, maybe its because Voidwalkers reign supreme in the 1 time AOE super category and thats why I feel that smash is kinda lackluster to the Nova Bomb, but i feel it just needs to be more consistent. I swear half the snipers I inspect are running stability of some kind, usually Hand Laid Stock, sacrificing range. I guess some people just love spamming bodies.
Jake so remember at crota when you can use hunter wave through the glass? well when they fixed the wave through the bubble it fixed that so maybe when they buffed the radius on showstopper it buffed the radius on titan smashed
I'm over Titan smashes that hit you through walls too. Guys pull the trigger in panic when you are a room away and still you die. Makes no sense, when at the same time Nova bombs seem to get hung up on rocks and door jambs constantly. :)

the smash is fine imo. if the blast radius is lowered then the leap distance and control of the leap midair needs to be drastically buffed so you can still defeat your target (s) reliably
I want to address your mindset on the Fist of Havoc. It's not exactly "OP" like you think.. for something to be OVER powered it has to be more powerful than what it relates to (other supers) which include a tether, golden gun, hammers, stormcaller, nova bomb and if you couldn't tell this is not ALL supers but the ones that have range. So, compared to the slam these can all kill you at a distance. Explain how to the slam is overpowered please. Love your gameplay ❤️
They problem is that you are comparing a panic super to roaming supers. Panic supers: Nightstalkers Bow( If you don't have quiver), Nova Bomb, Fist of Havoc, and Titan Bubble. Roaming supers: Golden Gun, Arc Blade, Stormcaller, Radiance, and Titan Hammers. They problem is you are comparing Fist of Havoc ( A panic super) to roaming supers. Panic supers are suppose to use one initial blast, and that makes it easy to shut down roaming supers. It is very hard to shut down panic supers. That's why in tournaments they have a Nova Bomb( a panic super) A Stormtrance ( A roaming super). Then they would either have a Nightstalker, Fist of Havoc, Titan Hammers, Arc Blade, and Golden Gun. Its a way to balance supers in a way you can shut down other supers and have a roaming super. So what you have to do is compare Fist of Havoc to other panic supers. And honestly I think Fist is slightly unperpowerd compared to Nova Bomb and Nightstalkers Bow since you can attack from above. But the radius from Fist can somties be ridiculous like that example. But I respect you opinion. :)

Sometimes, I feel like landfall on a stormcaller is more powerful than a smash because you just have to hover over someone and go super and they're fucked most of the time, and they still have there stormtrance. Striker super is basically "do a thing" super where it takes out other supers most of the time and/or just kill a person (maybe two) and call it a day. Is it overpowered? Some might agree it is, but, it's a super. Plus, I had multiple occasions where I would be semi close to someone where you would think it will kill, and I don't even damage them. Maybe the only thing that I can find it ever getting nerf is "Shockwave." Striker supers get more of a range by using it and I can only see that perk being a problem. But, other than that, I dont think it's overpowered.

Im glad im not the only one who thinks striker is the most op sub class with the 2nd longest mele that does 1.5× more damage than a regular mele and recharges faster. Then there is the lightning grenades that have a way too big radius to do dammage from where they land. Shoulder charge tracks too much and jougernaught can stop a head shot snipe and even a gold gun bullet. fist of havoc has been explaines in your video. Although they are so fun to play
The circumference area of a Titan's smash does not need a nerf nor a buff. It's right in the sweet spot.. Huge risk for a big reward( blah blah blah). It may seem OP but there is a counter for it once you time him/her right b4 they use the smash and during the animation which I'm sure you have done many times b4. You were just at the edge of the circumference of the smash zone hence your death. Many times I have been killed mere milliseconds when using my smash while in the animation of it.

I think the fist of havoc is perfect in its current state maybe a little bit of adjustment with the whole being hit by it through cover thing. But in all reality nova bomb has a way bigger kill radius with shatter and storm callers basically have a fist of havoc in landfall.
I don't think the range needs to be adjusted on the fist of havoc but the fact that it can kill you when you're either above or below the ground is a little broken... crispy snipes though

As a titan I will agree the blast radius is too much for FoH. Especially this example. I feel they should increase the jump distance a little bit in exchange for a smaller radius. It feels like a fair trade to me. I also think lightning nades need a slight nerf to their radius... In exchange they will do 135 instead of 122. That means all high impact archetypes would go in conjunction with it, not just hand cannons. You'd also be able to one tap a 75 with TLW and the lightning nade will finish them off. Because right now both together do 197 damage. Not enough to secure a kill on a high armor titan or warlock. That's just my opinion. lol
Smash range shouldn't be reduced in my opinion because for some roaming supers a lot of times you can bait smashes by getting close and backing out quick I do it a lot when I run blade and if bungie reduces the range it'll be even easier to bait
Not only does smash need a nurf to its range but shoulder charge should use up the melee charge. It's bullshit that they have the only "one hit kill" melee in the game and it has infinite uses.
the nova bomb has a MUCH smaller blast radius, even with annihilate active. Also, incidentally, Nova Bombs are easier to dodge, and, subsequently, "whiff".

If you think Titan smash needs an adjustment, try doing 3v1 with a striker. Shadestep, smoke that damages and slows, etc. you were at the far edge, but not stupid far.
I'm usually okay with the horizontal range like yeah it is nuts, but it is a super and it should be powerful. The vertical range however, is ridiculous. There is no reason for a strike to kill me if I quad jump or full glide above the titan who struck. Like dude you're smashing the ground? How did you even hit me?
funny thing is, if bungie did decide to "adjust" (nerf to the ground) titan smash they would make it the equivalent of showstopper on blade and that, my friend, is what's not OK :-')

Yeah, Titan smash radius seems op. I can often get way up above them and still get hit. I've been told it has infinite height but haven't confirmed.

I've been killed standing on top of B platform in anomaly and a Titan smashed below me. It can be frustrating.

I think the fist of havoc is perfect in its current state maybe a little bit of adjustment with the whole being hit by it through cover thing. But in all reality nova bomb has a way bigger kill radius with shatter and storm callers basically have a fist of havoc in landfall.
I don't think the range needs to be adjusted on the fist of havoc but the fact that it can kill you when you're either above or below the ground is a little broken... crispy snipes though

At 2:04 Gernader Jake officially broke the game :3. Snipes are so on point that Destiny froze for a bit ahahahha. GG PS: Regarding that smash, yes its frustrating I do think they need a little fixing, although he prob had shockave?? and cuz of the slope shock wave traveled in a weird way?
As a titan I will agree the blast radius is too much for FoH. Especially this example. I feel they should increase the jump distance a little bit in exchange for a smaller radius. It feels like a fair trade to me.
I also think lightning nades need a slight nerf to their radius... In exchange they will do 135 instead of 122. That means all high impact archetypes would go in conjunction with it, not just hand cannons. You'd also be able to one tap a 75 with TLW and the lightning nade will finish them off. Because right now both together do 197 damage. Not enough to secure a kill on a high armor titan or warlock.
That's just my opinion. lol
Smash range shouldn't be reduced in my opinion because for some roaming supers a lot of times you can bait smashes by getting close and backing out quick I do it a lot when I run blade and if bungie reduces the range it'll be even easier to bait
Not only does smash need a nurf to its range but shoulder charge should use up the melee charge. It's bullshit that they have the only "one hit kill" melee in the game and it has infinite uses.
That smash is the reason I refuse to play Striker. I love the class, but will refuse to us it because of the stupid range on it

the nova bomb has a MUCH smaller blast radius, even with annihilate active. Also, incidentally, Nova Bombs are easier to dodge, and, subsequently, "whiff".
Smash and Nova bomb are the only panic supers imo. Both of them have way to big of a blast radius and kill EVERYONE around you

I main a Titan and I see your point but if bungie nerfs Striker then Titans won't have much going for them and seeing how they merged sunsinger I don't want striker to be useless like they made sunsinger.

If you think Titan smash needs an adjustment, try doing 3v1 with a striker. Shadestep, smoke that damages and slows, etc. you were at the far edge, but not stupid far.
titan smash is a ground pound. it shouldn't kill you considering you above him. it's ridiculous if you ask me.
I'm usually okay with the horizontal range like yeah it is nuts, but it is a super and it should be powerful. The vertical range however, is ridiculous. There is no reason for a strike to kill me if I quad jump or full glide above the titan who struck. Like dude you're smashing the ground? How did you even hit me?
if you complain about the range of a smash i suspect you have no problem with a nova bomb

funny thing is, if bungie did decide to "adjust" (nerf to the ground) titan smash they would make it the equivalent of showstopper on blade and that, my friend, is what's not OK :-')
