I can’t believe Arabella took the most quiet role for herself. That massive talent of hers, and it’s suppressed. Does she ever do double roles? Seems a shame to just be the nodding one in the room, when she’s so much more.
I am from coatbridge. This is Lanarkshire at it s best. I was friends with Elaine c Smith when I was twenty. We were all friends in 1977. I also knew Johnathan Watson who is the double of my brother. A very troubled family not mine, but all too honest and then you have trouble.
Thank God for that. She should've been in it now and again. She was over the top. Badly written compared to the rest to God the point it felt fake majority of her on screen. It's already feeling perfect with the new couple opposite and Cathy's replacement. Her who plays Cathy is a bit obnoxious in the real world and I just think they wrote the part more and more for her overbearing appearance. Overkill was an understatement. I recommend this show to everyone and usual comment is about them unable to get passed 2nd series and exposure to Cathy. They took her too far and spoiled some scenes.

Thank God they ditched her playing overbearing Cathy. Her and that character was unbelievable and overkill. The second the new couple turned up they needed bin her. If an episode is heavy Cathy then we'll frwd often. She's quite a mouthpiece in interviews, the actor, but combined with that ridiculously exaggerated character that swamps better was never gonna work. Finally - it's now got a great cast and we can chill watching without being on pins for Cathy to ruin it. She should've been written into it for the odd episode or a character that's in and out. Still fab show but whoever maintained allowing writing for Cathy needs treatment 😴
