I respect the guy and his advice is really valuable. But he came back by selling a subscription services,. He started on twitter by building a base of followers over the course of year or two then staring the pax group for like 240 a month. Now he can trade stress free knowing he has a crap ton of money coming in monthly. He’s made and lost more than I ever dream of and he still failed trading. That’s the lesson eventually you will loose it all. But chances are you won’t be able build a sub service like pax.
He shares some really good advice that everyone should listen to and follow. I do think he is really well intentioned and cares but it does not change the fact that he makes his money via a subscription service.
Yep, facts are facts. I was there in the beginning. He started a free discord server too which was all free. When it grew to the large enough size where he knew a certain percentage would convert to subs he started charging monthly. Smart business move really. Good for him.
So what is your point? If you’re good at something, don’t do it for free. Also having a service is good for taxes. You can expense stuff through having a group and a service. If people are willing to pay for it, who cares. He knows how to trade. And more importantly, he knows the mindset. And everybody has a service you don’t have to sign up for them doesn’t make them any worse of a person. That’s such a weird comment.

I've been following pax on Twitter for 2 years now, not ONCE have I ever seen him mention PAX group. Not even in his header. He does have a link. Without side income, it's hard to scale up because of paying yourself and taxes. Let's you make $500k a year trading, you didn't make that, your account (business did) after taxes your left with $250k, let's say you pay yourself $100k, now you're left with $150k in your account. A side business allows you to pay taxes with that money while allowing the account to scale up.
of course the creator of futures was a little hat..
